Great all day breakfast! Had a delicious peameal bacon and egg breakfast. This place is a real gem with a nostalgic appeal that offers quality food at affordable prices. The staff are terrific and the coffee is good too! I highly recommend Sunset Restaurant.
View on GoogleI went to this restaurant for breakfast today. Walking in I noticed they only had one person working and it was busy because it’s a check day. They should at least have 2 people there on a busy day. The server didn’t check on us at all. It was freezing in the restaurant. It felt like there was no heat on. I was shivering and eventually had to put my winter coat on while I ate. Very unpleasant. Small portions, crappy home fries. I won’t be back.
View on GoogleHad a wonderful experience for lunch with our 20 month old daughter. Delicious home cooked meal. The turkey club and chicken gyro wrap were excellent! The atmosphere is incredible. It is truly a classic diner without trying to be kitchy or tacky. The wait staff were kind, friendly and patient with us and our toddler. Had a wonderful conversation with the owner as well and it was really neat to learn about the history of the restaurant that's been a St. Kitts staple for a very long time. Will gladly come back when we're back visiting and looking for a warm home cooked meal.
View on GoogleWith new ownership I think this spot is due for a comeback. The new menu is more compact but still has some of their old dishes like the hungryman breakfast. The interior needs work, but it's much cleaner now than it has been in a while. Food is still great overall, although our meats came very well don. The eggs were cooked perfectly. This is a great downtown spot with a lot of history. I am excited to see where the new owners take it and I hope it turns to success.
View on GoogleFamily owned and operated restaurant. Come in for their huge all day breakfast special with bottomless coffee. Old diner style feel is amazing. Sit at the counter or have a set at a table, this well-preserved original look to the restaurant will transport you back to the 1970s. Wish they were open Sundays. Great friendly staff. Fast kitchen which is open for you to see the magic. Well vented facility. Low cooking smell. No credit card surcharge. Clean facility and washrooms. No kids menu seen. Washrooms are located down a flight of stairs. Parking is free before 9AM on the street. Paid street parking out front. Paid lots and garage nearby. Bus stop in front of the restaurant.
