Very poor customer service and problem solving skills. Got an order of dates, I asked for one of each flavour (8 flavours) and received the wrong order of 24 even after stating my name. They looked very busy today so I bit the bullet on that, then I got home had one which was very good, BUT upon closer inspection I found a bug (silverfish) on a date. I contacted Mira directly how I contacted her to make the order, she denied the bug found in my food to be hers and would only give me a refund for $1.50… I also found a long black hair which is not mine in 3-4 dates as well… Very poor problem solving and customer service skills. Will never be returning.

We were blessed beyond measure to find this place for breakfast. After trying to go to two of our favourite spots in the Falls that were closed, the great Google led us here as we looked for something on our way back home. We will definitely go back. The owner is a gem. We had breakfast and it was cooked perfectly! Eggs over medium, bacon, sausage.....the potatoes on the grill are the way to go! She makes a number of homemade options for take home and in restaurant service including cabbage rolls, lasagna and shepherds pie. I heard her tell someone she makes the tzatziki and she let us try some..... delish! She also makes homemade apple fritters, similar to those you line up forever for at St Jacobs and offered a varied selection of butter tarts and what can only be described as gourmet stuffed dates! A quaint, homey place. The funny signs and salt and pepper shaker collection make it an adorable and fun place to stop. It is easily accessible from the QEW so stop by the next time you are driving by. You won't be disappointed!

This place is a little gem. We were getting vehicle work done next door and decided to have a bite here while we wait. We ordered their Eggs Benny and we would highly recommend. Homemade hollandaise with a nice hearty pea meal bacon. Oh and their hashbrowns with onions are delicious! Those are how all restaurants should make hashbrowns. Great staff and our waitress Melissa was delightful to talk with. Highly recommend visiting this place. Oh and don't forget to grab a bittersweet tart or 6 on your way out!

A great family breakfast stop! Very welcoming staff with amazing customer service. The eggs were delicious, meat cooked perfectly and they even added onions to the hash browns. My wife got the eggs Benedict and she said it was very good but the waitress was unhappy with the hollandaise quality and brought a new one over without even having to ask. My only issues were the hash browns were a little burnt and needed extra seasoning due to this and the tea/coffee wasn't anything to scream about. They also specialize in butter tarts so we snagged some on the way out. We will definitely be back to try more!

If you are looking for a fantastic place for breakfast in St Catharines, sunrise Cafe is the place to go. The menu is extensive, with so many great options that there is something for everyone. The service is terrific and waitresses are very friendly, helpful, and cheerful (even in the face of being very busy). The place is very popular but we were very lucky, we were seated immediately. The food was well prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. As you pay your bill at the register, you are greeted by hundreds of gorgeous buttertarts. They are becoming almost more famous for their butter tarts than their breakfasts, which is quite a feat. We picked up a box of 6 of their beautiful butter tarts for our #buttertartquest. Some flavour we chose: oreo, peanut butter chocolate, and much more. The price of meals is very reasonable, the food is exquisite, the service exceptional, and buttertarts....so beautiful and yummy.
