I have been in the Adult competitive tap classes since the studio's opening and have had a great experiences. The teachers are always so incredible and patient with us. I have developed wonderful friendships with the other adults. Classes are always fun!

The atmosphere is so warm and positive, and what really stands out is how inclusive the studio is—everyone is made to feel like they belong, no matter their skill level or experience. Whether you’re taking your very first dance class or returning after years away, the staff create such a supportive and encouraging space to grow, learn, and have fun. You can really tell how passionate they are about what they do. Highly recommend Step Above to anyone looking for a dance studio that feels like home!

Absolutely wonderful dance studio! From the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed with positivity, and an incredible energy that makes you feel like family. The instructors are not only talented and professional, but they also genuinely care about each dancers growth. The space is always clean, beautifully maintained, and designed to inspire. I’ve seen my confidence, technique, and love for dance grow tremendously since joining. I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a place to learn, move, and express yourself this is the place.

My children were members of Step Above for 2 years. The owner/main teacher always seems miserable, and does not have a lot of patience. Parents with young kids in the waiting room often feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed by admin staff. Focus on technique and timing is lacking. I found the recitals dimmed in comparison to recitals I have been to from other studios. Alot of the positive reviews mentioned staff members that are no longer working for the studio. We left 2 years ago to another local studio, and are so much happier.

Step Above Dance Academy has gone above and beyond helping my daughter learn the love of dance! My daughter has some health issues and they are always thinking about her and how they can accommodate her needs! Miss. Lily is a wonderful business owner and dance teacher. Step Above has reasonable prices, great staff, and has the best team bonding nights that we love to be a part of! I also began to dance here as an adult and I've been so impressed with how I've been treated. I've never felt like I didn't fit even when I don't know the dance terms. They've always been great at explaining things I don't understand and have helped myself and my daughter thrive in the dance community.
