Stanley Variety & Food Mart

One of my favorite convenience stores in all the province. The staff is super friendly, the prices being a convenience store arent outlandish and the samosas (though very greasy) are fresh and excellent. Great little store 5 stars

Strangely not much in the shop had a price tag, but wasn't too expensive when we paid. Shop keeper was friendly and experience was as much as you'd hope for in a small independent convenience store/corner shop.

My recent visit to Stanley Variety Store was incredibly disappointing. I purchased samosas, expecting a tasty treat, but what I received was far from satisfactory. The samosas were stale, as if they had been sitting out for hours, and to my utter disgust, the stuffing inside not only tasted unfresh but also contained hair. This experience was not only unpleasant but also completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against anyone patronizing this store until they improve their food quality and hygiene standards significantly.

Arrived Niagara Falls in late afternoon. As usual in travel, we went for shopping water for brewing tea. We were supposed to walk 1/2 hour to a supermarket but we saw this store on the way so we went in and bought CANADIAN SPRING Demineralized Water 4 Litre @ CAD 6.00 each. The young man was friendly and helpful. On the way back to hotel we saw CIRCLE K next to a gas station. We were curious so we went in to look around. CIRCLE K did not carry CANADIAN SPRING but NESTLE at same bottle size was much cheaper. We thought STANLEY might have over-priced thier merchandises. In a later day, we ran out of water so we bought a small bottle of NESTLE from CIRCLE K which was closer to our hotel; however, the tea brewed with NESTLE was not as good as CANADIAN SPRING (for tea brewing, softer the water type the better). We guess CANADIAN SPRING's price is actually higher than NESTLE. If we visit Niagara Falls next time, we shall still go here to get our water.

The people who work there are amazing, friendly, & most of all they try to make you laugh. Lol which is nice. Their store is always clean so your able to find what you need even if you have to ask. They remember their regulars very well & treat them with trust & loyalty. Same with any other customer that comes in. I love going to this store, they are so polite. They have a wild verity of Indian food & vegetables.
