Contacted Stamford Fireplaces to clean and adjust our old gas fireplace during their busy Christmas season. Mike arrived early on the appointment day, (just over a month ago) covered the fireplace area completely, cleaned and adjusted the burner, flame, and thermostat with knowledge consistent with experience. Yesterday we had a gas fireplace insert installed. We couldn’t be happier. The installation crew were amazing. They were professional and kept to their schedule. We anticipated we’d be cleaning all weekend after the removal of the wood fireplace insert to the installation of the gas insert. Boy were we wrong. This crew cleaned up after themselves. Thank you Stamford fireplaces for the amazing customer service…..from the visit to your shop to the final installation.

Great service and installation from Stamford Fireplace. Katherine did a great design for us and helped us along the way looks fantastic. Mike and Tom installed the fire box gas lines and made no mess and were in and out in four hours. Just amazing great guys very personable and clean. Steve And Alex did the rest of the installation Again, very friendly and did clean work. Didn’t even need to cover up anything although I did. Stamford Fireplace is a one stop to get the complete job done from the beginning to the end Steve. ran conduit for the power, cable and sound bar wires, can’t see a thing My wife is very happy and so am I It looks like the fireplace has been there for a long time. Extremely disappointed. I called to book an appointment for servicing the nature gas fireplace in my cottage as the pilot light kept going out. I purchased this place 2.5 years ago and never had a problem. I did tell them at the time of booking it was Napoleon. Appointment window given 11-2 pm. I had to work that day, I am an ER RN so hard to get time off. I called @ 11 a.m. to get a rough estimate on time as I had to have someone there to met them. They were unable to provide that so the person waited until they showed up at 2 pm. Then the young man, turned the gas off and said it wasn’t installed properly. I begged him not to as it was cold and the pipes had already froze once this winter. I assured him no one was in it and wouldn’t be until it was fixed to standards. He told me to use space heaters and said that they don’t sell napoleon fireplaces. I asked why they would Allow me to book an appointment when they didn’t service my make? He ticketed it and left. Since then I have had another natural gas inspector in, we discussed what repairs were needed. He said the young inspector put the wrong codes on the ticket 🙄 Fast forward to today I get a call saying I owed for the call out. I said of course, I expected a bill. $150 dollars! 😳 To turn my gas off and ticket improperly 😳 I was thinking of putting a whole new fireplace on and purchasing it from them but definitely not now. God knows how much they charge if they actually did some work. Incredible

We purchased a gas insert in October from Katherine. She was knowledgeable and didn't try to talk us into a pricier model like the others. We spent a lot less than we were quoted from their competitors. The installation crew were great. We got it within 2 weeks of purchase and have being using it every morning since it got cold. We love the flames they are realistic and purchasing one with a fan was the right decision along with a remote.
