St David's Co-Op Nursery School

All four of my kids have gone here, but my youngest, who is currently attending the 2019-2020 school year, has had the best experience by far. My other kids have very happy memories of the preschool, but my youngest simply adores it. She loves her teachers and her friends, and has thrived in this environment and with the structures that are in place. The management and teachers genuinely care about and know each child, and the resources available have improved greatly over the years.

I have a toddler in preschool in st. David's and I have to admit it is one of the best school I have taken my kid to. The teachers are soooo amazing and helpful to my kid. They have a lot of fun and learning activities that makes my child enjoy going to school. They deserve more than 5 stars if it's possible!!!! Love them.

Both my children have attended St.David's Nursery School for the past 3 years, my youngest is still currently enrolled. A preschool education has been invaluable to our children, and we are so glad we chose St.David's. My kids love going to school each day and meeting the teachers at the door with a hug. The board of directors and teachers have worked hard on improving the school, and it shows! Thank you for preparing my little ones for " big kids school " and allowing my wife a little bit of freedom lol

The previous reviews do not reflect the school present day. I have 2 children who attend, both in different classes(age difference) and I love sending my kids each day. The staff is friendly and really show each individual child that they are happy to have them in their class. The current board has done an amazing job in correcting any issues that might have been in the past. Unfortunately the negative reviews left me reluctant to enroll my children, but I am so glad I did! It has been amazing for myself and for my children, my kids love going. Please don’t let negative reviews(which obviously are not experiences of parents and clearly revolve around something else) keep you from a great preschool experience! If you’re still left a bit hesitant, go to the school, talk to board or staff and I’m sure you will see why those reviews are no longer relevant. This is from a parent who is not currently on the board, and has 2 children (1 in the toddler class, 1 in the preschool class) who attend 5 days a week.

The management has no idea how to treat staff, making it a horrible work environment. They do not have the best interest of the children because they fight so hard against qualified staff thinking they know more then those with the education to do the job properly including programming, room arrangement and behaviour management. . I would never send my children back with the current board. It needs a serious overhaul and until someone steps down nothing will get done. It’s been 5 years time to move on. .. it’s unfortunate because Debbie and Nancy were absolutely amazing and everyone loved them. Now it’s just aweful.
