My Mother had a heart attack 4 years ago and had been living alone she needed more care ! I found St Charles village and as a RN myself I was relieved to find this level of help and caring for my mom when she needs it . I have called St Charles Village when worried about my Mom and a nurse goes to check on her immediately and reports back quickly. They are caring and very knowledgeable I Truly feel safe my mom is there in there competent kind care . Lisa Valeriote

The staff at St. Charles Village are amazing. Their care for my mother has been first class and they have always been responsive to my questions and concerns. My mother has also remarked on the high quality of the meals. I cannot say enough good things about St. Charles Village.

Our mom has been a resident here for 7 years and for the most part she has been very happy and has thrived. As she ages she has more health issues and she can always count on the staff here to attend to her needs or see that someone does if they can't. She can be forgetful and they always help us help her to be her best. We are very pleased with the services and care given at St Charles Village.

Until a few weeks ago, my mother was a resident here for several years. She loved the access to walking along the canal, her apartment was perfectly suited to her needs and the staff and residents alike always created a great community feeling. From Christmas until 5 weeks ago she had been classified as "in crisis" and was awaiting placement in a longterm care facility. She needed far more help than a "retirement home" can give so we had psw help come in the a.m, PM mid day and we as a family were there as much as possible...but there was still a huge amount of time where support was needed for her safety. This is where the staff...every member from office, nusrsing, housekeeping, kitchen...made all the difference in the world for us. We all worked together as a unified team to keep mom safe. Even the residents were always helping to keep her safe. This community of support allowed us to not make a terrible decision to accept a bed in a facility we did not want but allowed us to wait it out and get a bed in our top choice of homes. Without their support this would not have been possible for us. Even the emotional support from staff every evening after bedtime helped to restore us for the next day. We can not thank you all enough.
