I’ve been a patient of Dr. Al-Shammaa for years. He and Nasreen are caring, and compassionate and have done an amazing job helping me manage my pain! I work in healthcare so I understand first hand the importance of exceptional care. Thanks to all the staff I'm able to live a fairly normal life, instead of being in pain every second of every day. I highly recommend this place and the treatment.

Dealing with Complex regional pain syndrome after suffering nerve damage from a seizure a couple years ago, has been extremely difficult for me. It was especially difficult when it came to having to communicate with pain doctors and specialists in regards to my symptoms and the types of pain and the degree of which they persisted. CRPS gives you many different types of pain in different severities all within the same region, for me it was my feet, different variants of pain at different levels, at different hours of the day. Trying to feel comfortable and feel like the my doctors actually understand me and my pain, sympathize and actually have knowledge in regards to CRPS without looking at it under the “chronic pain” scope soley... It just felt so hopeless between the 7-10 pain doctors and specialists ive seen over the past couple years.. The thought of actually finding anyone who UNDERSTOOD me and my condition, I lost hope and became depressed and withdrawn from any social or family life due to not just the pain but the lack of any true understanding or sympathy.. due to the lack of feeling any doctor express to me or at least help to make me feel that there is hope one way or another for me… I was referred to Dr.Al-Shammas clinic and initially I refused, just grouping him in with all the other pain doctors and specialists ive seen over the years. But It came a point where My pains were so bad I had nothing to lose to at least go and explain my symptoms and hope the 1% chance, that he would understand my CRPS. When I went and met with Dr. Al-Shamma, the initial moment of our interaction I felt and saw a sense of sympathy and non-judgementalness from him simply by his presence. I have been dealing with the most excruciating pains imaginable these past years, At first I only mentioned a few variants of the pain in my feet to Dr.Al-Shamma,.. from my previous doctor visits i sadly came to the conclusion that limiting myself and only telling them one or two variants of the pain I suffer and endure, like the burning and throbbing… was enough and that mentioning any more in my experience has always never worked . Dr-Al-Shamma was the only one out of TENS Of doctors and specialists who actually asked me about additional pains and even went a step no other doctor or pain specialist than himself, has said to me! He told me that CRPS usually has many types of pains which are Inproportionate to the size of the injury. AS SOON as he said that, after almost a year of dealing with this pain in silence. I felt the a level of relief I have never felt in my life. There was absolutely no judgement from him, only understanding of the dynamics of my condition and its severities and how real each persons pain and experiences are with CRPS. First time in a long time I knew I could speak to him open and honestly, without feeling like I need to lie about the pain i was feeling just so a doctor didnt think i was crazy! For the first time since my accident and having CRPS in my feet, I recieved the compassion, the understanding and the care and more importantly the knowledge which I needed and I deserved! What EVERYONE deserves! Dr-Al-Shamma and the amazing team he has, saved me from a life of 24/7 pain! All the throbbing, burning, jolting, ripping, hypersensitivity just to name a few.. has since been under management. He gave me hope I dont think I would of ever found otherwise. He was the only person out of nearly 10 pain doctors and specialists who understood my condition. I finally received a treatment therapy and pain management plan tailored to my condition and where its effected me. I have been improving but most importantly I have been able to manage my chronic pain ever since. Thank you Dr Al-Shamma and you entire team for all youve done for me and my life!

I get the best care here! Dr. Al-Shammaa and his great team are so thorough and caring. This clinic is so accessible once you get your referral done and so you can get an appointment quickly. I have even called when in bad pain and gotten in the same day. I know this can’t happen all the time but the prompt appointments are so great. I highly recommend this Doc and his team. Always lots of free parking.

Great place. Dr. Gollum is so nice and professional. Has helped my nerves pain in my shoulder and neck. Took several weeks of marcane needles to settle the nerves down. No nerve pain now for over 2 years! Thanks!
