Spotlight Comedy Club

Went last night to see Kansei Yasuda and his friends. Was funny as hell. More than fair prices and very cool owner and staff. 1st time going and definitely going back! Thank you.

Such a great "hidden" gem located in the heart of St. Catharines. Me and my friends always have the best time! The new owner is absolutely amazing. He has changed the setup and flow of the venue for the better and and has been reeling in so much good talent, I am now a regular. Great venue, great comedians, and a night out that won't hurt your wallet. (Tip: For the out of towners - There is a parking garage within 2 min walking distance from the venue and is usually free unless there is a local event going on, then its $5 cash)

The owner and staff were extremely kind and I wish them all the success. The comedians however were not funny. I also felt some audience members ruined the show with their interruptions and pointless commentary about their lives that I doubt anyone else cared for. The popcorn we had took about 20 mins to reach us and were as cold and stale. Could my experience have been better? Sure. But with no other real entertainment in downtown St. Catherines, might as well try these guys out as your experience may vary.

Great prices and great entertainment. Was laughing the whole time. Nice nowadays. Good clean venue. Good sound and crowd. Clean washrooms. Prices vary and are pretty reasonable. Drinks are a little expensive. Nice comfortable atmosphere.

Always a great night out at spotlight. My husband and I were just here on the weekend and honestly cannot the last time we laughed as hard as we did. The staff there are always so kinda and welcoming. Definitely a fun night out whether it’s a date night, girls night or heck- I’d even go solo. Love being in a room of laughter especially when the world can feel so heavy sometimes. HIGHLY recommend the comedy kamikaze! Cheers!
