I went here, January 28th at 2030 to get a new winter parka for my winter hiking on clearance. After looking around, I approached one of the staff members to ask about where this coat would be located in the store. This woman clerk, Alexis, was able to help me look through the coats immediately and figured out that the last stock of the coat was actually located in the back. She was able to radio someone to get the coat for me out of storage and they brought it to me relatively quick. The gentleman who brought me the coat was making small talk about the coat after I had tried it on. He was asking me about what I liked about it. What about this coat drew me to it. I had told him i had been looking at this coat for 2 years and finally decided to buy it because it was on clearance and is probably being discontinued as well as the features that made me decide on it. He was very polite and kind (even if he wasn’t truly interested LOL, he didn’t show that). After our conversations about the coat, he said that because this coat had been in the back for so long, was the last one and because it was already on clearance that he would be able to add a slight increase to the sale price but it would have to be final sale. I got a high quality down winter parka (400$ regularly) that i had been screenshotting for years for SUCH a reasonable price due to this general managers kindness. I was already going to buy the coat but in this economy, any extra savings is a godsend. I wasn’t able to get his name but i not only appreciated the kindness of an added discount but the fact that he was trying to be kind and engage in small talk about a woman’s coat (not in a creepy way, but in a genuine kind way). 10/10 customer service. Will speak highly of this location and their proper customer service. I also left a formal review from the receipt email. I hope both he and the female clerk get kudos from upper management for providing excellent customer service (something we unfortunately don’t get to see often anymore).

Not too bright over there. I got screwed from my $25 gift card…. Bought 2 mlb hats at $54.99 each. $109.98 plus tax =$124.27. I used a $25 gift card that I received for previously purchasing over $100.00 bringing my total bill down to $96.02. When I returned one of the hats, the clerk refunded the total purchase to the gift card promo by “mistake”. A supervisor had to fix it…or try to fix it. So he refunds me $48.01. I explained to him that I should be refunded the full cost of 1 of the hats. $62.13. He argued with me in front of a lineup of customers. So I just left. Make it right!!! $12.50 back please.

I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience at your store. After reaching out to several of my usual retailers for Black Friday deals, I found myself disappointed by the lack of customer service and helpfulness. However, my experience with SportChek was a refreshing change. I initially called to inquire about a few products I had seen online for a great price, intending to purchase them as Christmas gifts for my girlfriend. Unfortunately, I encountered some challenges navigating the website’s availability and ordering system. I decided to call your store, where I had the pleasure of speaking with Grace. Grace was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she incredibly helpful and patient in assisting me with my questions, but she also provided a level of customer care that is all too rare today. She took the time to engage in friendly conversation while checking information, which made the entire process feel personal and genuine. She even went the extra mile by checking the availability of the products across different locations and ensuring I was kept in the loop. Her attitude was warm, professional, and thoroughly pleasant. When I visited the store to pick up one of the items, Grace walked me through the entire process and continued to offer great conversation, making my shopping experience enjoyable. It was a truly refreshing experience, one that I haven't had in retail for a long time. Additionally, while I didn’t catch her name, Grace's coworker was also very friendly and added to the overall positive atmosphere of the store. Thank you both for such a wonderful experience. I will certainly be back to shop at this location in the future!

I want to thank Mark and his employee, Alex for putting the time and effort into bringing my step dad's bike back to life after his passing a year ago, the team is extremely quick only taking 4 days and there so easy and extremely approachable!!! definitely will be using this location again for my bike repairs THANK YOU SO MUCH SPORTCHECK TEAM!!!
