Spirit in Niagara Distillery

I’ve had four meals here now in the past few months and absolutely blown away by the sheer quality and commitment to their own locally grown fruits. The bartender, Joe, is an absolute expert at his craft. The Irish coffee, the bourbon, the gin, the food, the locale; it’s a perfect blend. I almost don’t want to post this review because I’m afraid they’ll become more popular, highly encourage you to visit before it’s a top 5 spot in the region.

Book a tasting and tour and Rick was very informative on the tour. The tasting was also very good! Rick also was very helpful in what you need to know when crossing back over at the broader and that information is to be truthful. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves while we was there! Thanks Rick for making our honeymoon trip here fun!

Place is beautiful, vintage and woody smelling with interesting decor. Amazing staff and food! Prapti was our waitress and so personable. Chef Moses came out and spoke about the dishes we ordered and what to try next time! Joe at the bar was very kind and patient and educated us on the spirits they made in home.

We made a reservation and we were both so pleasantly surprised! Gorgeous venue, live music, drinks and incredible dinner! An absolute hidden gem in Niagara on the Lake. We will spread the word that this is a must to enjoy! Thank you.

The spirits here are top notch! Highly recommend doing one of the tastings, as the bartender curates the drinks specifically to your tastes. The staff was great (although a bit understaffed for a Sunday). And the atmosphere is relaxed elegance. Their menu states they have a few gluten free food options (gluten free crab cake option?) but since I was the first reviewer on Find Me Gluten Free I was nervous to try anything other than the cheese plate. The cheese plate came with gf crackers, cheeses, and jams. I think the crackers were Mary’s Gone Crackers (we specified we wanted it gluten free and asked them to confirm with the kitchen that the cheeses and jams they included were also gluten free) We also did the cocktail tastings and they asked what types of flavors we liked/disliked, I mentioned that in addition to my preferences we were also gluten free, to ensure the drink ingredients were gluten free. The bartender came back and asked if we had an allergy, and we confirmed we did. It’s hard to tell if I have any gluten issues when I drink, so I can’t accurately confirm if the food and drinks are celiac safe, but they were yummy and we didn’t have any major tummy troubles. This is definitely worth a trip when in town, and worth bringing home a few bottles too!
