Been fishing here multiple times. There's nothing that says certain docks are private. I was fishing with my son when they came in saying the dock we were on was private, meanwhile the 4 other docks were unoccupied. Their ores knocked over our belongings as they came in to dock and I had to pick up my son so he didn't get knocked over by their ores. If certain docks are private they should be marked appropriately so the public knows.
View on GoogleGreat rowing club! If you’re thinking of rowing or putting your kids into rowing, then this is the place to send them! Great options for all levels of rowing! The coaches and staff are all top notch and it’s a real family-feel at SNRC. Also, they are putting in brand new training facilities on-site, so there’s even more reason to join for year round training.
View on GoogleIm not apart of the SNRC community but being in the Niagara region as a rowing coach and being around at regattas I am able to see great athletes and coaches. The one coach from the club was able to assist with an emergency missing boat from our end and lend us a shell for our singles race. Water is still, weather is pretty fair against wind as it's lower than the hills on either side. The course is very easy to navigate so long as your crew can steer beside a shore line and not into the races going as theyre going up to the gates. For spectators there's not much shelter on the stands and the side of the stands from sun or rain. On the opposite side there's trees and a path, great spot to sit and watch races
