Sorrento Bakery

Me and some boys recently moved into the area and as broke college students this place is like a safe haven for us. The workers here are always happy to see you and make sure you feel appreciated with every sale. If had to chose a place to spend all my money at, I'd pick this place with zero hesitation.

Asked for sugar cookies, an eclaire, a cream puff, and one banana cream pie and one coconut cream pie. And a cherry strudel. Didn't get a cream puff. Got whatever kind of roll that was filled with cream. The whipped cream on the pies was like play doh consistency -my 4 year old wouldn't touch it and I dont blame her. Trying to get a spoon through was nearly impossible. The eclaire was rock hard. The cherry strudel, while yes it IS as big as my arm. Was RAW on the inside. 0/10 do NOT recommend. These baked goods must have been at least 3 days old -I have NEVER had a whipped "cream" so awful in my entire life.

I just love this place. It is always super clean. The showcase, wow, immaculate. The products are always so fresh. The service is always so polite and helpful. Great job 👏 Oh yes, even the prices are reasonable. You all must try it to believe it. Amazing 🤩

November 18, 2024 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped by Saranto Bakery for a quick bite and had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions. We ended up getting an authentic-style large deli sandwich and a drink at an unbeatable price. The sandwich was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place for great food and excellent service! 👍🏽⭐️👍🏽 UPDATE 👍🏽⭐️👍🏽 Later that evening, we bumped into the owner of Saranto Bakery as he was locking up the store. I took the opportunity to personally share how wonderful our experience was earlier that morning. We told him how impressed we were with the team—their excellent customer service, helpful suggestions, and how perfectly they prepared our food. The owner truly appreciated our feedback, but what made the moment even more memorable was when he brought out a case of Empire Cookies as a thank-you. I can’t tell you how delicious those cookies are! I wouldn’t have chosen them myself, but after trying them, I realized I would’ve missed out. They’re an absolute must-try! Saranto Bakery goes above and beyond in every way—highly recommended!

I wish I had stopped in sooner, what a lovely old bakery. This has to be one of the best bakeries in the area. This place has everything. And a whole freezer section of delicious (frozen) ready to eat food. They can make fresh sandwiches with meat they slice per order, a full deli and all the baked goodies you can ask for, from fresh bread to desserts. I will definitely be back. The prices are quite reasonable as well. And the staff was nice! They have a decent selection of beverages as well. They wiped the counter between each order, and changed gloves if they were preparing food and then handling cash. 5 stars well deserved. I hope they are business for a long time.
