Smithville Animal Hospital

I had to unfourtantly put my dog down last week, and the staff here were absolutely incredible, caring and kind. Its never a hard thing to do, especially by yourself. They were all extremely comforting. Especially the sweet lady that asked for a hug ❤️ thanks guys very appreciative.

Dr Adele and the staff are fantastic, they have taken the best of care of our dogs. Charlie would not be here if it wasn’t for Adele going the extra mile for him. Thank you so much!! He’s doing great and loving the snow!!

Dr. Adele is a FABULOUS Veterinarian!🥰 She has an impressive all encompassing knowledge of animals, but the empathy, care and compassion she displays for them is even more significant. 😊 I have always had a positive experience each time I have visited Smithville Animal Hospital with my 'Lovey'. The staff are great! Always welcoming, polite and helpful with whatever we need. Most importantly, the care they provide to your furry family member after any procedure.🤗 They are located in the town of Smithville which is conveniently a short minute up the road for us. On the negative side, I would say their prices are a bit inflated making them not as affordable as some other animal hospitals that are a further distance away. Smithville Animal Hospital will continue to be my #1 choice for all of the most important reasons. 🐾💗

We’ve been bringing our pets to Smithville Animal Hospital for over 20 years, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care they’ve received. Dr. Adele and her staff are truly wonderful—knowledgeable, compassionate, and always patient with both pets and their people. You can tell they genuinely care about every animal that walks through their doors. It’s comforting to know our furry family members are in such capable and kind hands. Highly recommend!

When we moved we decided against changing vets because we adore the care our animals receive at Smithville Animal Hospital. Dr. Adele in particular has been such an incredible support with our golden from behaviour as a puppy to allergies as an adult. From yearly checkups to saying goodbye, our experience has always been positive.
