Skyway Kitchens and Granite

I don't recommend them period! I had countertops installed (I use that term loosely) a few weeks later my kitchen sink fell right off. John came to replace it. A few months later my countertop cracked. When the damaged one was removed they broke my tiles in numerous places. They replaced the countertop with a different colour (which also was quite a process to get them to admit that mistake). Again my countertop needed to be removed to install the correct one. I was able to order matching tiles. We were fortunate a friend was able to replace them, which he didn't charge labour to do only the cost of the material. I contacted John to see how to be reimbursed for supplies and he's trying to weasel out of paying $46. (He should be thankful we didn't have to redo the whole job) Run the other way from this business. Not to mention absolutely rude about the whole ordeal.

From Start to Finish, we knew that we wouldn’t be disappointed with the good reputation they have. Good, friendly, honest people to work with. They met our needs, desires and expectations more than what we ever thought. Pauline was so helpful in picking out the right colours for our kitchen and Ryan was helpful from the get-go at the storefront in helping us layout our kitchen with our blueprints and incorporating our ideas. The computer program they use to draw out the kitchen beforehand was a great asset to have. The Kitchen Installers were friendly at the house and time-efficient! Dove white cupboards, matte black finishings, cookies and cream granite, charcoal grey kitchen island cupboards…a combination not to be reckoned with! Quality is excellent. Can’t wait to spend sometime in this kitchen now:) Thanks again to all the staff (even the background staff) at Skyway Kitchen that was involved in our kitchen. Your work and effort does not go unnoticed:)

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Seemed awesome to start and it all fell apart from then on. Ordered new granite counter-tops and had issue after issue, and still never fixed the problems they made. Never offered any compensation. Still haven't heard a peep from them as they will not backup their poor workmanship. Went to the showroom and had a great initial contact with Bill. Ordered granite counter tops, Bill came to the house and measured and clearly measured wrong and didn't come through in the end. 2 major issues were never corrected. First was the gap they left in the corner of the kitchen, the measurement was clearly inaccurate as the counter top left almost a half inch gap between the wall and the counter top. Solution they suggested...order a thick tile and put lots of thin-set on the tile back splash to cover the gap. Second issue, also because they measured incorrectly they were not able to cover all the counter-tops from 1 slab of granite. Instead of contacting us before they cut the slab, they showed up and tried to pass off a different piece of granite on the island in the kitchen. Thus we now have different counter-tops on the main kitchen counter and the island. The son John was in charge of the installation crew and originally said they would fix the issue, was going to find 2 slabs the same and replace as we ordered. Time and time again we tried to get this resolved but after multiple trips to the showroom, numerous messages and conversations, no solution was ever corrected. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Now telling the story to friends, family and others in the industry I have now heard many horror stories similar to ours from this company. They still have a chance to correct the issue but as always I assume I will never hear from them again. I will now go out of my way to make sure anyone asking for referrals to a company for kitchen renovations to steer them far away from this company. By far the worst experience I've ever dealt with in home renovations and home contractors.

I love my new kitchen... They were amazing to work with and I cannot say enough how happy we are with the final products. Everyone we worked with was so friendly, helpful and you could see they really care and only want the best for the customer. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed. We just had Skyway Kitchens and Granite do a full rip-and-replace of our kitchen and we're very happy with the result. From front to back on this deal, Skyway has treated us right -- from the initial estimate to the customer service after the job was done, everything was professional, open, and friendly. No surprises, mess in the house, no cost overruns, and the counter and cupboards we ended up with were of a really nice quality (wood, not press-board, and a really good looking quartzite counter). Overall, I'd recommend these guys for sure. They did their best to work with us and to give us the kitchen we wanted, and they were very friendly and helpful every step of the way. Thanks Skyway for a great experience.
