Let’s start with an “IQ” test for 16 year boy on the honour roll is ridiculous. Secondly disregarding proper diagnosis from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto (Epilepsy, Bipolar and a left thalamic lesion in his brain that causes the deficit in question is insane) . Also the constant shunning of details from the medical team (neurosurgeon, neurologist and psychiatrist) Thirdly, yourself and the staff at the school at hand calling the child “stupid “ in reference (lowest grade Academic English 84) in which caused the young man to break down in tears . Who are you to call “stupid?” 60% of Canadian children are BELOW grade level in reading and he EXCEEDS in everything else. He has a LESION in the language processing area of his brain. You ladies seriously need to do better and the board has been notified of the disgraceful conduct.
