Silver Maple Bed & Breakfast

It's now called Casablanca B&B

We had a great 2 night stay at Silver Maple. Liz was a great host, very warm and kind and very knowledgeable about the area.The queen room we had located at the back of the house was cute and comfortable, also quite spacious. All of the guest rooms are on the main floor of the house so you don't have to go up stairs. Everything was very clean and the house is newer which is nice as there was AC (it was great because when we stayed it was super hot and humid). Liz gave us some coupons for a few vineyards we went to which was great as we didn't have to pay for wine tastings. Breakfast was delicious, fruit is served first followed by an egg dish. One morning we had a veggie quiche and the second day we had scrambled eggs on a croissant with turkey and cheddar cheese- it was awesome! Silver Maple had a great location, about a 10 min walk to downtown and if you bring your bike (which I recommend- the trails are much easier than I though they would be, they are all paved and mostly flat) the bike trails are about a 5 min bike away which leads you down to the lake, its such a great view and there are many vineyards to stop at on the way. You can also stop at fruit stands and vendors selling baked goods and veggies. This time of year stop and get some peaches!
