I went to the pharmacy the guy there was very rude I said hello, how are you and I know he’s not deaf. Then I tried to grab my receipt and he just threw it down on the counter, shoppers please train your employees better and train them to treat people with respect. This was not the first time I experienced this pharmacy at shoppers, the first time I let them go now I have to address this issue. Overall they were VERY rude.
View on GoogleAbsolutely horrific customer service today from Sue in the pharmacy. Made an appointment, came in, stood around like an idiot for 10 minutes while everyone deliberately avoided eye contact. In the meantime, I get to hear Sue regale another worker/customer about her darts, her pickleball, her Sicily trip, her Vegas trip, her Paris trip, and let’s not forget her ski trip in November. She finally gets to me and tells me to fill out information that I previously filled out in the app. She asks me what the appointment is for. I tell her, despite again, filling this out ahead of time in the app. Fine, ok. She says it’ll be a while ‘til she gets to me’. I gaze around, not a soul other than me waiting. I ask her how long it might be, as I have to pick up my spouse from work. I explain I have an appointment, she says ‘Yeah that’s fine, but it’s just a ‘time’ and not when you’ll actually be seen’. So what’s the point of making an ‘appointment’? She couldn’t have cared less. So you know what? Now I care less. I walked out. I’ve been getting tired of coming to this pharmacy. Always long lines to pick up meds, the dispensing fee never gets covered fully despite our plan having 100% coverage. I’m a patient person, but I have too much self respect to be treated this way. I will be transferring our Rxs to another, smaller pharmacy that will appreciate our $10,000 a year business. (Queens Pharmacy on Thorold Road seems to need the business and have always been kind when we’ve popped in for our Drs appointments)
View on GoogleA lady at pharmacy don’t know how to talk with customers. She refused to give medicine 4 times and told me to get it from Niagara public health. Then i call Niagara public health they told me you can get it from any pharmacy very easily then i told her that i wanna talk to your boss then she gave me medicine after refusing me 4 times and she took 1 hour in this whole drama lol.
View on GoogleI had a very disappointing experience at this Shoppers Drug Mart location on Sunday night. I went in to return a beauty product and also planned to purchase another item. A young staff member assisted me and told me that beauty products cannot be returned, which was confusing because I have returned beauty products at Shoppers before, and I am also a regular customer. What made the experience worse was that she opened a brand-new, sealed product without my consent just to check the shade. I did not ask her to open it, and opening a new product without customer permission is very unprofessional. Her communication was poor, lacked confidence, and her attitude was annoying rather than helpful. Shoppers should stop hiring or putting unprofessional, poorly trained staff in customer-facing roles. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training to prevent this from happening again.
View on GoogleDon’t waste your time here, there are better pharmacy options. They are not transparent about their prices and do not care to actually check if your insurance rang through. They treat you like a number, not a patient. Hopefully you don’t need any injections, they won’t know what size needle to use and will make you wait over an hour (when there’s no one else in line). If you want to feel confident in your pharmacy care, I would not recommend this location. (And please no false apologies or ‘call us at 1-800’ - an apology will not support someone’s health nor will it rectify the behaviours and choices of the pharmacy team)
