The security guard takes pictures of me and my car and follows me around the store. I’ve done nothing wrong and he even stepped infront of an employee that was already helping me and reached over us to get the can at the back of the shelf. But that’s ok cause the word will get out and less people will shop there band cause you get treated like a minority and criminal. He’s not professional either….more like a stalker

Very good place to shop staff is super friendly and professional. Staff is always ready to help you. I highly recommend getting your prescriptions and while your there browse around you will be happy you shopped here. Amazing staff Amazing atmosphere you can feel how happy and positive the environment is as soon as you walk in.. im always get greeted with a smile and pharmacy gets you your meds in a timely manner.

I bought a perfume gift set (from the St. Catharines location) that comes with a voucher to redeem a full-size bottle, and the experience at the Welland location was beyond frustrating. They refused to redeem my voucher without a receipt — which makes absolutely no sense, considering these sets are literally designed to be given as gifts ( typically only being sold around Christmas and Mother’s Day). The employee then told me I’d have to return to the store it was originally purchased from. This was an unempathetic and unrealistic assertion, especially considering she has no idea about my circumstances — whether I drive, whether I’m able to travel, or whether I’d even be visiting St. Catharines anytime soon. Even so, this “solution” was inconvenient to even suggest. She didn’t try to help at all — completely unwilling to offer any solution. She blamed it on “fraud,” but if that’s the concern, there should be a proper procedure for honest customers like me. Instead, I’m left unable to redeem something that was paid for. Terrible customer service and truly disappointing. I won’t be visiting this location again.

It took almost two years to get them to send me prescription notices. At each attempt they said my phone number was now added for sure but it never worked. Long wait for prescription pick up, there must be a better system for serving customers who are in the store waiting.

Shoppers Drug Mart is a convenient place for health and everyday essentials. Stores are generally clean, and staff are helpful. Prices can be a bit high, but the accessibility and range of products make it a solid choice. Rating: 4/5
