Shoppers Drug Mart

Staff can never be found. Force self checkout. The rudest female pharmacist. Talking down to her staff members. Sale prices are Walmarts regular price. Avoid if possible.

I was just there today Dec 5th, I went into shoppers to get my kids some Tylenol and Advil as we were on our way to Niagara Falls and I asked to take my kids to the bathroom and they were denied. I’ve never been to a shoppers drug Mart that doesn’t allow customers to use their washer, especially young children. This is really disappointing considering my kids are young three and seven years old. To make matters worse when I brought it up to the girl at the Beauty counter named Bailey. She was very unsympathetic and sarcastic with me. Probably the most unprofessional I’ve ever had someone deal with me at a large business like shoppers drug Mart. And considering I’m a business owner myself this is very unacceptable. Hopefully the owners of this location will consider their clients needs and higher staff who are more experienced with dealing with customer services with compassion.

Had to get a vaccine. Was told to wait for 25 minutes. Waited for one and a half hour before the person remembered to check if they have the vaccine available. And she was unsure of the availability. She then asked another person if this was available and told me it will come in 2 days. What a waste of time! No value for customer 's time. She could have checked and let me know right when I talked to her first. Worst experience!!

Grimsby once had the best little Shoppers drug mart. That’s drastically changed during corporate mergers and the drive to maximize profits while cutting costs. Today we went to Shoppers and had the same experience as other times. No one at the the front checkout. They had 3 self check outs and that was the only option. No wonder the place is a ghost town. They don’t know there clientele. The loss of the human touch is gone. I have moved away from the pharmacy to a local place. The only reason I had gone in today was due to convenience. Unfortunately the experience was less than stellar. This cookie cutter approach just drives people away. It’s not like Shoppers has great prices. My recommendation to people is to look at a smaller pharmacy where you can get a better customer experience. Additionally for other products move to Superstore instead. Same company overall but a better experience.
