Jenna from the Post Office is absolutely amazing. She helped me with mailing forgotten glasses. Jenna went above and beyond. I appreciated all her help and so will my brother when he gets to wear his glasses again. Thank you. Customer service 10 stars! 😀
View on GoogleI went in to put money on my Presto. Which I've done at man different Shoppers location. The cashier gave me attitude and told me that because they didn't have a go train that they didn't do Presto. Even though Beamsville has GO bus service. She gave me attitude for not using self checkout. I wait 10 minutes just to be greeted with a ln unnecessarily loud sigh and grumpy mood. Also I'm not sure I can trust their products after seeing this. Also the entrance to this store is in such a bad place.
View on GoogleI purchased a gift card from here for a Christmas gift and it was already registered (this has happened before) so I went to return it so I could replace it since it is not usable and scammed and their response was “well we aren’t taking it back because then we will lose money” like um hello what about my money that I used to purchase this scammed gift card?? Then another rude male worker stepped in the conversation and yelled at me in front of a whole line of customers saying they wouldn’t do anything about it. The yelling was unnecessary…….. So basically shoppers drug mart doesn’t care if you purchase a fraud scammed gift card and lose your money! I messaged Amazon directly (that’s the gift card I purchased) and within 10 minutes they refunded me.
View on GoogleI had a very disappointing and distressing experience at this pharmacy. My mother was just discharged from Toronto General Hospital and is critically ill. I was short of one urgently needed medication. Because my mother could not sit upright and was laying down in the car due to her condition—and the weather was extremely cold—I called the pharmacy in advance and requested if the medication could be prepared if I emailed the prescription, so my mother would not have to wait outside. The pharmacist, Nida, refused over the phone. When I came to the pharmacy in person, I again explained the situation and politely asked if the medication could be prepared urgently. I was told it would take 30–40 minutes and that if any customers came in, they would be helped first. I accepted this and suggested that my husband could return later to pick up the medication. I then requested one tablet only so my mother could take her night dose and we could leave immediately, but this was refused in a very rude and dismissive manner. As a result, my critically ill mother had to wait alone in the car in freezing weather for 30–40 minutes while I was inside, which was extremely distressing. At no point was there any sense of urgency, empathy, or effort to accommodate a medical emergency. Regular walk-in questions were prioritized instead. I fully understand that the pharmacist was working alone and that pharmacy rules exist. However, this profession also requires compassion, kindness, and the ability to assess situations appropriately. Unfortunately, none of that was shown. The tone, behavior, and lack of empathy had a very negative impact during an already traumatic situation. I do not recommend this pharmacy if pharmacist Nida is working. Anyone expecting compassion during a medical emergency may be deeply disappointed.
