Good and easy to access, but looks very run down and not as good compared to other hotel/motel choices available. It's a small town so there isn't much tourists here, so this location has a lot of long term local residents staying for those who cannot afford rent or in-between places. It's not bad but not great either.
View on GoogleWent to book a room and was told flat out they do not allow dogs. When told that I have a service dog not a pet I was informed I had to show proof that it was trained by a program. When Informed them nicely that all that is required by aoda law is a doctor's note the lady got rude and attempted to correct me. I've had service dogs for over 15 years so yes I know the laws. Beware they are not a disability friendly place
View on GoogleOur intention was to go see KISS at the Scotiabank arena and ended up coming up a couple of days sooner to go fishing for a couple of days with a friend. He suggested that we meet up and stay here at the Seaway Motel. It was certainly a great price. However, we learned just hours before the concert that it was cancelled. Shirley was a very gracious host despite her love for Joe Biden ;). Regardless of that, we struck up a great conversation with her and I look forward to seeing her again in the future. I will gladly stay here again.
View on GoogleThis motel has had a major turn around! Though some of the rooms are still dated the are slowly updating. For reason I can not get into, The owners and Manager have a heart of gold We had a very clean room and the service was outstanding!! The manager of the property ( I believe her name is Shirley) is salt of the earth. She offered to bring her personal fire pit so we could cook s'mores with my niece. She brought sparklers over for all the kids that were playing on the front lawn. How cool. We have not had better treatment at a 5 Star and we travel a lot. If we ever need a room in the Port Colborne area again we WILL be staying at Seaway.
View on Google1 night stay was over priced($100), the wall paper was ripped and there was missing tiles in the bathroom also the bed sheets ripped. Had to go get our own tv as the one in the room wouldn't work. Would not recommend this place. Stayed at a 4 star hotel couple weeks after for the same price.
