We only used the dump station because the other options were closed in the area. The station worked, but it was rather unkempt. The water hose was lying in the dirt. The path to it has deep holes and puddles. We've traveled extensively throughout Canada and the USA, but we've NEVER had to pay $30 for dumping waste. That's a lot of money for so little service. Hence the poor rating.
View on GoogleWe’ve stayed at Scott’s for a few years and the staff have always been polite and ready to help if you need them. , sites are large and clean, washrooms are always clean, an all around well maintained park. They are dog friendly which is important. You can leave your garbage at the end of your site and someone picks it up for you everyday. Water and electricity hookups work great. Overall We have no complaints and would definitely return when we travel to Niagara.
View on GoogleLove this place. I stay for a baseball tournament every year. It's central to most of the venues, it's affordable and the staff is friendly and helpful. We asked for a site swap this year as we were pulling in, because we liked the site with a tree, and they simply said sure. No hassle. Bathrooms are decent, but full hookups allow you to use your own. I look forward to my trip there next year.
View on GoogleWe stayed slightly over one week at this campground. As others have said yes the pool and washrooms are a bit dated but everything is very clean and in good working condition. In fact the water in the pool was extremely clear compared to many other campgrounds I have visited. The water, electric and sewer connections worked perfectly. Some people complained about the electrical but that was probably before it was updated. Many of the power pedestals are fairly new. The playground is ok it has all of the basics. Yes there is a train track but it is behind a wooded strip of land that separates the campground from the tracks. The train would pass once or twice per day it did not really bother us. Keep in mind the two other campgrounds next to this one are also up against the same train track. Yes as others have said there is a gentleman’s establishment across the street. We did not hear any noise coming from there. Just some lights, but once we were in the camper with the blinds down we would no longer see them and it didn’t bother us. One thing I did not like is the fact that the front gate would operate 24/7 some people would drive in late at night. I would have liked it if the gate would have stayed closed after a certain time until the next morning.
View on GoogleFairly priced for the area. On arrival I was a bit concerned with the dumpy campers and trailers around the parameter not to mention the strip club, "gentleman's" club and "spa" across the street. After walking the grounds and walking to the grocery store I felt safe. The transient site area was clean and nice grass. Bus stop was right out front. The train did not bother me. Staff was ok but not overly friendly or knowledgeable when it came to tourist questions. We walked to the KOA next door and got our bus passes after googling.
