Worst branch.Staff need atleast basic training,simple process of accounting seems task impossible for them.(dnt want to name one). I booked appointment with shruti but when i reached, she was busy with other clients(in my appointment time).all in one, dnt waste u your time visiting them, try some other branch.

Terrible branch, especially for a downtown location. There's some good people working here, it's not their fault this branch is terrible. There's not enough tellers most of the time and the ATM hours are horrid, the same as the branch hours I believe.

If i can give 0 star I woukd have, the ABM hours are attrocious even compared to Fairview Mall branch, cannot even bother to keep it open for a few hours during day time so folks can get some sort of services

Garbage bank, don’t do any business with this branch whatsoever. If I could give them 0 stars I would, some of the tellers are very ignorant & seem to be improperly trained. If you deposit large amounts of money in your account they suspect you of fraud or treat you as if you’re a criminal even if you provide legal documentation. Management is very unhelpful, I came into the branch to discuss a hold on my cheque. She asked me tons of irrelevant questions like documentation of my flight because I told her I needed money for a trip I was going on. She also told me they were legally allowed to ask me about my injuries I sustained in a car accident to see if my “story lined up” in regards to how I obtained my cheque. I spoke with my lawyer and she made it very clear that the bank is legally not allowed to do that. I provided LEGAL documentation to authenticate my cheque & even offered to have the bank speak with my lawyer however they were still very unhelpful. She refused to help me because I had two interactions with the tellers that didn’t go to well because of the issues I’ve been having with my account. This branch in particular will be hearing from my lawyer because there’s no way they think they have legal authority over MY MONEY which is LEGAL TENDER. If I came to MY BRANCH to request money from MY ACCOUNT I shouldn’t be questioned AT ALL. Regardless if I get along with the staff or not that has NOTHING TO DO WITH MY MONEY. NOT HERE TO BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BANK, I’m there to get MY MONEY. Mind you, this same ASSISTANT manager I spoke with weeks ago, assured me she would help me with any future issues however she failed to do that. The second interaction I had at another branch didn’t go too smooth because of this exact same reason plus another incident that occurred with my mom’s account. The Brampton branch transferred $100,000 from my mom’s account to someone else’s account without any authorization from my mom. That specific branch apologized and wrote a letter taking responsibility for the mistake so that’s been legally documented & legal action has been taken. Scotiabank is the worst bank to bank with, look at the reviews for this branch and all the other ones. Clearly it’s not me that’s the issue, it’s their service. This branch has 2.3 stars and the other has 1.5 stars. Find me a branch with more than 3 stars, I’ll wait. Thanks :)
