This branch is absolute garbage. The reviews will tell you that. Door says they close at 4. Yet they lock the door at 3:57, my guess is because the job is so labour intensive, they try to bail out early. Trying money from the machine and no matter which domination I try for it says "transaction cannot be completed".. And of course, because they locked the door 3 minutes early, they're not "able to help" Lazy and pathetic.

View on GoogleHave been having money stolen from account for last 3 weeks and have been given the runaround on how we will get it back. Have to wait 60 days for money that is mine that was stolen. Recently only answer I got was make a new account. OK great! What about the stolen money? Absolute joke of a bank. We pay a ton of money for security of our money and its just taken and we have to survive without for 60 days.
View on Googlenever imagined I would be writing something like this, my experience at this Scotiabank branch has left me devastated. What should have been a simple visit to the bank became a moment of deep humiliation. I’ve been coming to this location for the past two years, and almost every time, I’ve felt targeted and unwelcome. The front desk staff—particularly two women, one of them is short, older with curly black and grey hair—have treated me with open disrespect. Just yesterday, they laughed at my accent while I stood right there. I wasn’t even speaking to her, but she inserted herself into my interaction with her colleague just to shut down my request. This wasn’t about procedure—it was personal. As soon as they saw that I was in the line next, I saw in their eyes that their attitude changed completely. They act like they’re above helping us. I’ve experienced it repeatedly, and after reading other reviews, I now know I’m not alone. This is more than just rude service—it’s discrimination, and it cuts deep. I’ve been a Scotiabank customer for 7 years. I came to this branch recently for mortgage support—something incredibly important to my family’s future—and instead, I walked out feeling like I didn’t belong. Like I was less than. It’s hard to explain how painful that is unless you’ve been through it. No one deserves to be made to feel small. I will be switching all my accounts to RBC, where I hope to be treated with basic human decency. To anyone reading this who has ever felt the same way: you are not alone. We deserve better
View on GoogleI was from out of province in Grimsby dealing with a family emergency and was having to figure out banking info for another family member. Blanca was the most kindest, helpful person I've had the privilege to meet. She went far out of her way to help us. She took the time and explained things so clearly to us. Her calmness and compassion for us was above and beyond and gave us a chance to breathe. We are forever grateful for her professionalism at such a difficult time for us. Thank you Blanca!
