I am writing because my son-in law came into.the bank and he was treated with disrespect and rudeness. He has some learning disabilities, but him and my daughter live on their own and take care of themselves. They got a refund from Cocego and the bank took a major of it for handling the account even though they hadn't used it. That was all the money for groceries til they got their money at the end of the month. Sue, the teller told Steve in so many words that wasn't her problem. He tried negotiate to pay at end of month, she said that could not be and gave him what was left with a smirk on her face. They were going to pay, but there was no way to go. This was not the first time this has happened with Sue, this needs to be looked in...

I rarely go to the bank but unfortunately I had to come in today. The bank teller was so incredibly rude and disrespectful. I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. You are the face of the bank, crack a smile when people greet you. Her tone was demeaning and just plain impolite. Today this bank crossed the line with me. They have given me too many reasons to switch banks and this time around I will definitely do so. Their ATMs constantly have issues with either being out of order or not recognizing money, there is always an error of some kind and that is just one of many problems I have had it with this bank. I am shocked by how I was spoken too and treated today. Shame on you. I will take my time and look for a new bank.

Went into the branch because my on line VISA credit card application didn't go forward and the call centre was useless (as with most businesses). One of the banking advisors at this branch, Amie Varga, helped me. She assisted me with the credit card application, not as easy as it sounds, but she took the time, didn't rush me, and got it done. She was professional, friendly and helpful and made my day. Thanks, Amie.

Had some troubles a few months back in trying to move my father back to the country in the middle of the pandemic. Not having many options and understanding the banks position with limited resources for me due to security reasons. By just inquiring and asking question the teller became increasingly agitated and condescending. After being confronted about her attitude she voiced her frustration with me asking question when I was simply looking for any solution to help my father set up an account. Her defence was that I was making her feel bad that she couldn't help and thats why she acted with hostility. Never dealt with such unprofessional behavior in my life.

Went in to open a bank account for my son but it was appointment only but still let us open the account. The lady helping us was very nice and helpful in doing it. Scotia bank is the best never have I had a problem in the 16 yrs I've been with them..
