Saint Davids Lions Club

Bought our Christmas tree there this year. Best tree we ever had. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back next year.

St David's Lions Club is a great venue for a wedding or any family celebration. We had my daughter's wedding there a couple of weeks ago. The grounds are beautiful, we had an outdoor ceremony with a backdrop of fall trees. We brought in our own caterer and the kitchen was perfect, it is huge with 3 ovens and ranges, a large commercial fridge and lots of counter/prep space. Rental included ample tables and chairs. The hall was simple, no fancy chandeliers but looks elegant with the right touch of decorating and linens. It is accessible with a wide ramp at the main door and a handicap washroom stall. There is also large outdoor pavilions with lighting and picnic tables. Mary Jane, the woman in charge of rentals was amazing, she was very courteous and helpful. The bartender, Marty, was also very nice and helpful, he even helped us stack chairs and sweep at the end of the night. Price was very reasonable for the hall and for the bar. I would definitely use this venue again.

We had our annual family picnic on July 6th - there was a total of 70 family members. St Davids Lions Club was chosen due to its large covered area, children's playground and washroom facilities. Our experience was fantastic as management ensured that the area was clean and that there were more than enough picnic tables available to us. They were extremely helpful in all areas and could not have done more for us. Importantly, washroom facilities were very clean and the grounds were beautifully cut. We will certainly be using them again next year. I would highly recommend the Lions Club to anyone planning an event.

You can't beat their drive thru bbq, 10 dollars for a lion burger, fries, and a bottle of water. It's way better than a fast food joint. The carnival is always good, too.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Saint Davis Lions Club. We booked the venue for a baptism and holy communion function, and despite our meticulous efforts to clean up afterward—brooming and stacking chairs—we were charged an extra $110 without any clear explanation. The lack of courtesy shown was astounding; they even failed to return a full vodka bottle they found. The staff is extremely rude and lacks professional ethics, which clearly indicates that they are not suited for business. Had we known about their unfair and unprofessional attitude, we wouldn't have bothered cleaning up. We wouldn't mind paying extra if there were valid reasons, but this feels like an unjustified charge. I strongly advise against booking this venue to avoid similar frustrations. These people are no good for business.
