Riverside Tavern

The owner is the sweetest goof! My husband and I always feel like home, whenever we visit. The view of the crick is incredibly beautiful. Good collection of drinks. The pizza looks and smells really good, we shall eat in next time. Pool table is nice and new.

Great drinks, great food and awesome service! Loved their Moscow mule. They have locally brewed beer. Their pizzas are huge and their orchard burger was great!

Good food with an awesome view. Awesome service and a large patio for dining. The menu was simple, a little more exciting than your regular pub food, good quality too. We'd come back for sure!

We ordered from Riverside tonight. We live close by and ordered for delivery thinking the food would be fresh when we got it. Wrong. Spinach dip had a hard layer of cheese we couldn’t even dip through (maybe just a downfall of ordering instead of getting it fresh). Order was supposed to come with naan bread and chips, we got no chips. $14 for jalapeño poppers and it only comes with 4? The fries with our fish and chips were so dry, hard and stale, they were inedible. My fish had raw, gummy batter. You can see some on the fries.

Most of the pictures posted on these reviews are from the "old" Riverside tavern. It has been sold and the new owner has redone the whole building inside and out and new menu! You must check this place out now...one of the nicest, best places to eat in Chippawa or in the surrounding area for that matter! Chippawa has needed a breathe of fresh air for years and 1 week ago today the void was filled. I've been anxiously waiting to go here to eat after seeing everyone's food posts. Well, tonight was the night and I must say...besides the typical wait of a new place opening up, being lined up out the door and still getting staff and timing in order this place lived up to each and every picture and comment I've seen on facebook. Bernie congrats on the absolutely amazing job you've done with the place. It was an absolute pleasure attending the Riverside Tavern and sampling some of your menu items with a few others.
