Great Inn came here to celebrate my 21st wedding anniversary with my wife spent two nights the Inn is gorgeous from outside to in. Appreciate traditional Decor as this inn has. Staff were super friendly and nice and helpful. Appreciated the welcome champagne also a bonus unlike almost all our hotels we've been to in Niagara there was free parking on site and even more so free electric charging for our car. Our room was super spacious beautifully decorated with a fireplace and traditional decor I would definitely come back again
View on GoogleAmazing location surrounded by beautiful vineyards. The hotel looks charming and cozy from the outside, and the setting is truly special. Free parking was convenient, and we arrived around 3:30 PM, so check-in was smooth and easy. The complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival was a very nice touch. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were cozy, and the fireplace along with the wine and artwork on the walls added to the warm atmosphere. We were traveling with twins and had requested cribs; however, the hotel called on the day of booking to let us know they do not provide cribs, so we had to bring our own. At the time of booking, we were told the room would have a vineyard view, but unfortunately it did not. Maybe because we didn't book direct with hotel. Also we were placed on the ground level, which was likely done for convenience with kids, and we appreciated that consideration but we wish was better view considering that hotel wasn't full at all. The washroom was clean and spacious. Now to the main disappointment — breakfast. For an inn that presents itself as luxury and upscale, the breakfast experience felt very basic. The dining area is beautiful, but the food did not match the price point. $27 for three small pieces of French toast and $28 for a standard breakfast with eggs and overcooked bacon felt excessive. The biggest letdown was the “fresh” orange juice, which was poured from a regular gallon bottle, yet priced at $8 per glass. That was very disappointing. Make it fresh with squeeze oranges pls. As someone who travels to inns frequently, I truly believe this property has the potential to elevate the experience. This is a luxury inn in the heart of trendy Niagara-on-the-Lake — it could easily be exceptional, especially considering the breakfast pricing. Overall, the staff was friendly, and the location is absolutely stunning. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to town and nearby vineyards, which is a great perk, although we didn’t use it since we needed our car for the kids’ car seats. Would we come back? Maybe. The sunset was gorgeous, and I can imagine how beautiful the patio must be in the spring and summer. However, there is definitely room for improvement to truly match the luxury experience being promoted.
View on GoogleWe arrived at The Riverbend Inn on Valentines day and stayed for a wedding reception the following day, the 1 more day after that. this Inn hires the best staff from the front desk to the shuttle to breakfast staff and bartender, not to forget Amy in housekeeping. On our last say we felt so welcomed we hated to leave, for sure we will return.
View on GoogleThis Inn is perfectly located just outside of town but close to several great wineries. Aside from being across the street from the riverwalk path (must do), Two Sisters and Peller Estates are walkable distance, and they also have a great restaurant and bar inside. We have stayed here twice and will always prioritize Riverbend for future stays. The staff is always delightful, thoughtful, and accommodating, and both of the rooms where we stayed were spacious, beautiful, and well stocked. All-around excellent experiences staying here. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleRating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3 out of 5) I recently stayed at Riverbend Inn and Vineyard, and overall the experience was okay. The staff was polite and genuinely helpful, but the property itself doesn’t have much to offer, especially considering the price. It’s not like a typical hotel — the vibe is older and more limited, and there are very few basic services available. Even a simple glass of water has to be requested, and there’s no water dispenser on-site. For the cost, I was expecting more convenience. If you’re traveling with a baby, definitely think twice. There isn’t much support for families or young children, and the lack of simple amenities makes the stay less comfortable. Overall, I would give it 3 out of 5. The staff is great, but the property and services don’t match the price. I personally wouldn’t stay here again.
