Revalee Brunch Café

Visited recently and tried the salmon Benedict with a side of garlic herb potatoes and a cappuccino with almond milk. My partner ordered the steak and eggs along with a drip coffee. The service was friendly and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. It’s a small spot with good energy, and it does get busy. The ingredients tasted fresh and the food was prepared well overall. That said, the garlic herb potatoes were a bit underwhelming. They weren’t crispy and didn’t quite live up to the expectation of being a standout side. Everything we had was decent, but nothing particularly memorable in terms of flavour or unique twists that would make the dishes stand out from similar brunch spots. For the price point (around $30 for plates), I expected a bit more value or something that set the food apart. One small detail that stood out was the pricing of the drip coffee being nearly the same as a cappuccino with almond milk, which felt a bit unusual. When hot sauce was offered, the portion provided was quite small, though I could have asked for more. Overall, the experience was pleasant thanks to the good service and nice vibe, but the food itself didn’t quite stand out enough to make it a place I’d personally return to.

So good! Seating is limited so I would recommend a reservation if possible. I ordered the pork belly benedict ($25) and it was delicious. Between the presentation, the ingredients, and the flavours, the whole meal felt elevated and worth the price. Overall a very nice spot to visit once in a while or fir an occasion.

Had my first visit to Revalee this Valentines Day, which I had been very keen on visiting! We ordered the huevos rancheros and the avocado and halloumi toast (I added a perfectly cooked medium poached egg). It was incredible. Portions are generous, flavours delectable, and the presentation was beautiful! Service was fantastic - I cannot for the life of me recall our servers name with my goldfish brain, but he was a lovely young man! Thank you so much for your help yesterday. The proprietor, Michael, swung by to say hello as well which was so thoughtful. The staff are happy and super sweet, food is fantastic, and the ambiance is laid back yet attentive. Also, that trumpet/horn light fixture is super cool 🙂. I'm excited to visit Revalee again! Looking forward to trying the patio and mimosas.

This is a fabulous restaurant with high quality food for the price. They seem to have a great selection of food for all brunch eaters. I wish there was less noise and more space inside but besides that if I could give this restaurant 1000 stars for their food I would. Also their staff is very attentive to your needs throughout the meal. Water always filled and first bites always asked about. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it blew me away with the potatoes they used alongside the freshness of the vegetables incorporated on the plate. Everything tastes very fresh and diverse. The dish is not too small but also not too big. Perfect!

Everyone in my part of 6 was impressed by the breakfast we had on Saturday. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend the flat white. They allowed me to do the classic breakfast with the meat on the side which I really appreciated. Thank you!! 🙏
