What a lovely dining experience! We didn’t buy the wine pairing but they ended up giving us 2 complementary glasses of wine per person (a white and a red wine). They were both from the vineyard and paired perfectly with the food. They also gave us take home menus which was a lovely memento. The restaurant itself was gorgeous with the nice and moody ambience. The food was so delicious with our highlights being: the scallops, duck, and rosehip ice cream. We did not enjoy the pickerel or the sea buckthorne as much. Overall, great experience!
View on GoogleFirst of all, I want to thank the staff at Pearl Morissette for the outstanding service. That alone deserves the 2 Michelin Stars awarded. You truly made my experience feel special. It is not easy giving up your evenings, commuting weekly, and still showing up with such a positive attitude. Everyone was helpful, approachable, and made me feel genuinely welcome. Also, the scones and biscuit treats were delicious. You should seriously consider opening a bakery, is what I would have said if RPM Bakehouse didnt exist. In terms of the food, there were some interesting dishes and some that I absolutely loved. What stood out most was how fresh and clean everything tasted. The ingredients felt thoughtfully chosen, the flavor balance worked well. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and the combination of outstanding hospitality and well executed food made it one I would happily revisit and recommend to friends for a special evening. I hope you will become the first 3 Michelin Star Restaurant in Canada! - Kevin Xu 2/1/2025
View on GoogleI would consider myself to be an amateur foodie but I love to travel and enjoy different experiences. I’ve always loved tasting menus but have always hated how stiff and rigid they can feel. I just have to say I absolutely take my hat off to the staff here for the ambience they created. They have perfected the art of a professional perfectly executed service while maintaining a friendly and jovial ambiance. That coupled with the unbelievable locally curated menu made for one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to be back in March
View on GoogleWe happened to get into Pearl Morissette very last minute after trying to make reservations for over a year. It is not exaggerating when I say this was a phenomenal spectacular experience. The staff and unbelievably talented chefs have mastered the art of unpretentious service but top tier food. This is a tasting menu for the very discerning palate and SO worth the expense. It’s an investment in an experience to say the least. The service, (I’m looking at you, Stephanie, Thomas and Jenna) blew my mind. They were all approachable, and kind and funny and so knowledgeable about the food and the wine. They are attentive without being annoying and friendly without being over familiar. Very very few dining experiences come close to reaching this level of deliciousness and expertise. Do yourself a favour and go here. Stand out dishes - scallop, halibut and the carrot. All the dishes were mouth watering, but these stood out for me.
View on GoogleYou don’t need me to tell you how good this two-stars, farm-to-table restaurant is. Food is, of course, subjective - what I find amazing, you might see differently. But that’s the beauty of RPM: it invites you to experience and interpret the creativity behind every plate in your own way. RPM truly honors what the land provides and lets that philosophy guide its ever-changing menu. The service is attentive, and the staff are knowledgeable; you can tell how seamlessly they work together. The 10+ course tasting menu is beautifully paced, giving you time to enjoy each dish without ever feeling like you’re sitting too long. It’s almost like watching a well-rehearsed dance unfold. The wine selection is excellent! So if you appreciate not just good food but culinary artistry, this place is for you. P.S. Book early! I reserved about a month in advance for my October visit. And if you’re dining in the summer, don’t miss the garden tour
