My partner and I have had an amazing experience from the very first appointment until our last. Every time we went the midwives they gave the utmost care and time. We rarely had to wait when going to the office.. 5 minutes or less. Once baby arrived the care for her was beyond what I had experienced from a typical gynaecologist in the past. I felt a bond and not just normal client care. I recommend going to the Renaissance midwifery if you’re expecting. We are going to miss them. (Team C)

I feel so blessed that Renaissance Midwifery accepted me as a client when I first came in back in January. From the very beginning, I was welcomed with so much warmth and care by Team C — Shelley, Theressa, Morgan, and Kobie (an intern). Unlike what I’ve often experienced with quick, rushed appointments in a doctor’s office, the midwives here take their time, listen deeply, and truly make you feel cared for not just as a patient, but as a mother and family. On the day I gave birth, I was supported by Theressa and Emily (her partner from another team), and I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the way they cared for me. They were so hands-on, attentive, and reassuring — I never once felt alone in the process. Their compassion, professionalism, and expertise made such a difference in one of the most important days of my life. Even throughout my postpartum journey, I felt like I had an extended family walking with me. They were always approachable, easy to contact, and never made me feel silly for asking questions — even when I called the emergency line for small concerns. That kind of patience and kindness is rare and invaluable. I also want to highlight how supportive they were when I ran into issues with my insurance. Renaissance Midwifery stepped up and made sure my lab tests and other needs were taken care of, and not once did they make me feel like I was a burden. Instead, they showed me compassion and understanding, which made such a difficult situation so much easier to go through. Now that I’ve reached six weeks postpartum, I feel bittersweet about parting ways. Renaissance Midwifery has given me not only excellent care but also genuine connection, and for that, I will always be grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any expecting family looking for care that goes beyond the clinical and truly touches the heart.

FTM here. I can't say enough good things about the incredible care I received from Renaissance Midwifery. Their expertise, compassion, and dedication were truly outstanding throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey :). A special thank you to Theresa, who went above and beyond during my labour. After being sent home from the hospital, my baby girl decided to arrive just four hours later. Theresa rushed to my home and handled everything with such calm, skill, and confidence. She delivered my daughter safely and stitched me up with such gentle care. I didn’t even feel a thing. I also want to thank the entire Niagara and Welland team, the home visits were incredibly supportive and really informative. They made sure both baby and I were healthy, comfortable, and well cared for every step of the way. I would wholeheartedly recommend Renaissance Midwifery to any expecting parent.
