They are actually cruel there. Stole over 600 out of my daughter who passed away's account, and gaslight me about the reasons for it, and straight up lied to the complaint department. Spent years trying to deal with it. No resolution, just beating me down til I submit in order to keep the last of it. Absolutely cruel.
View on GoogleEvery single time I come here the line is out the door and the service is very slow. A simple trip to the bank takes an excessive amount of time. Not every teller will be open, but other employees will be looking on from their offices or booths, which is very frustrating.
View on GoogleIncredibly slow service, line ups out the door and only 1 or 2 tellers taking people. Was advised by the 1-800 people to ask for a specific person at the branch who deals with my issue or problem specifially. The same problem i just dealt with yesterday at the branch. And last night FOR HOURS again on the phone. I came in and approached a teller off to the side without a client trying to inquire as to this persons availability to help me and hopefully avoid this issue for a fourth time and avoid having to wait in hour long lines daily at the bank. He kept just incredously replying and repeating that I can't bypass the line for a teller. He did so without actually listening to what I was saying or asking which was that I was told to see a certain person at the branch. After another long wait I ended up at his station.. I explained that I dealt with his colleague sitting a few feet away from him the day before and maybe she could save us all some time and guide him to a faster solution. He was difficult, condescending and rude. After missing another hour of my work day and about 30 minutes of waiting at his station he advised me I needed to see the person I told him from the start. That person was not at this particular branch so it was a waste of time that he could have avoided me if he'd listened in the first place.
View on GoogleI was at this bank minutes ago after standing in a long cue. Coming from a night shift after working for 13hrs at Mississauga. I needed $4000 for my mortgage. The teller a male Guyanese guy. Told me to insect my card. General security protocol for all to show I am the bearer of the account which is normal. 2nd I punched in my password after a long while he asked of the an email confirmation of an e transfer i did yesterday. i forgot my phone in the car do i told him and asked if he will be ok with my drivers ID he said yes. i gave it 3rd security. he waited a long time and said he needs a confirmation from his manager, i sad ok. he came back to tell me he will give me $1900 since i don't have the email confirmation. i said no i need the money for my mortgage and that the bank will not pay my interest my mortgage will get if i don't pay in full and that was the last straw of the nonsense that wad happening. that were profiling me for my color. thinking cannot own an amount like that.. in the name of it is Christmas and fraudulent activities happen at that time of the year. i must admit i was upset and i did insult them . Anybody from night shift in that frame of mind would. the manager came to ask me to get out of the bank but i refused because until i got me money i will would not leave. i went to the car to get my phone to proof my transfer. now the manager said no. He invaded my privacy to show him my account with my other financial institution which had nothing to do with their RBC bank before he gave me my money. Yes i was loud because i wanted everyone there to hear and witness the profiling and stereotyping that was going on. The managers name is Rob D'acomo (Something like that last name). i am very furious and disappointed with RBC and this very location for their unprofessional attitude. The Manager don't know his job that he is there to serve the customer. He is rude, racist and does not seems to know what he stand for. If RBC have issues with e-transfers, stop accepting e-transfers. Product sold to customers a which are being paid for monthly are not suppose to be some kind of frustration to the customer.
