RBC Royal Bank

Went into Ridgeway branch with my daughter yesterday. She just sold her house and needed a fairly large amount of money on a bank draft. The lady that had to approve the transaction was rude and looked down her nose at my daughter and myself as if we were trying to pull a fast one. It was very unsettling and her behavior was disgraceful. She did not express any greeting whatsoever. No smile., just a sour face. Not sure why someone would act so unhappy about their job. We are not regulars there, so perhaps that was the reason for the unfriendly behavior. I left to go to Pen Financial to deposit this bank draft and had a lovely experience with greetings from everyone at their counters with smiles all around. My daughter was thinking of investing through Royal Bank but after that experience moved on to a different more professional investment company.

My husband recently passed away and upon finding some documents, I wasn't sure about them. The gentleman in charge of estate accounts, Iqtedar Qureshi, was so helpful. Right there on the spot, he made all the necessary phone calls and drew up paperwork . He explained everything perfectly . I was so at ease within minutes knowing that he was going to take care of me at this sad time in my life. Thank you so much!

Went to the branch today and received absolutely first class service from D Dempster. She was patient and helpful. Did as much as she could to help and then recd good service by calling. No complaints here.

Very rude staff. Peta-Ann McCaulsky the new manager has no customer service skills. 17 years of banking with RBC and all of a sudden they won't do the same thing they've been doing for me for the last 12 years. Changing banks.

I am quickly reminded why I dislike going into this branch. The staff are so unbelievably rude every single time. I’m still speechless from the interaction I just had. You think customer service workers would have an ounce of customer service skills.
