Would rate worse then 1 star if i could. Stayed multiple times. Most recent was so bad, that I will not be staying at this property again. Was checked into the oldest/outdated room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Complained to the front desk and was moved to a newly renovated room. Jetted tub was non-functional for the entire stay, which was an upgrade option we payed for. Anyway, not even the worst part. Received a bill containing $200 damage fee. Called the front desk and they said "We put plastic to cover the smoke detector". Simply not true. Transferred to manager to explain that we did not damage, smoke, or place plastic on anything in their room during our stay. The manage, Joel, screamed that "We placed the entire property into a safety concern and that $200 is little, and the cost should be more". I explained that, actually, we were checked into a room that was unsafe due to the plastic that was there prior to us. Joel, then says because we are standing our ground and blaming the hotel, that he will no longer look into removing the $200 fee for damage. and that I will have to dispute this with my credit card. Wow. TL/DR Got charged for $200 damage that had nothing to do with our stay. and screamed at by Joel the manager that the cost should be more, and he is not going to reverse it. If you think this is a pleasant experience, than feel free to stay at this horrifically stinky and outdated hotel, with terrible customer service.

Watch out for hidden fees and Last minute room price change. My initial reservation email from the hotel showed my room rates being 75/99/115. What they charged me was 75/99/135. Plus $15 parking per night plus taxes should have been $384 for the weekend ended up being $432.92 after all the hidden taxes including a municipal accommodation tax for $5 plus additional $.65 hst on that accommodation tax. Since when does a tax get taxed. The final problem was they charged my credit card twice for $432.92. Considering there were over 200 people at the hotel just from our group they made an extra $10000 this weekend from the hidden charges and extra taxes which the government doesn't know about and will not see. In the end what should have been under $400 for hotel cost my credit card $865.84. I stay in hotels for work for 10 mths out of the year. Im going to not stay in another Wyndham hotel both personally or for work purposes.

The room was very old. The carpets were dirty and worn, and the closet door was broken. I brought this to the staff’s attention, but nothing was done during my two-night stay. I called housekeeping for toiletries, and it took about 1.5 hours for someone to come. When I informed the front desk, they said they were busy. The next morning, I called again for extra towels, but no one answered. On my checkout day, I mentioned this to one of the front desk staff members. She said, “I was here, and I did not receive any calls.” When I asked her to check the call log, she saw my missed calls. All she said after that was, “Goodbye, have a nice day,” in a sarcastic tone.I am very disappointed with the service. The hotel needs to improve its customer service and hire staff with a more professional attitude.

As you enter be ready to face a very chaotic busy lobby! Very old elevators, ripped and stained carpets in hall ways, inside the room and the elevators. Very worn bathrooms, could not convince myself to shower inside the old stained bath tub. One travel shampoo and one another toiletry product for a 3ppl stay, 2 dove travel bar soap ( this was unexpected). A very small Tv, WiFi and reception for mobile Data, both awful! No fridge, no microwave in the rooms! They offered to rent out a fridge for $10 a night!!! Which because we had some food and snacks had to accept it! And one microwave available in the lobby for the whole building! We booked this hotel online, while checking in, we realized that the parking is NOT included in the price we paid :(, another $25 per night. Checking out we got another surprise called resort fee ( or something) $4.99/ night, while we thought we have booked/paid everything online ,we had to pay another whopping $148. Not worth the price, I’m gonna make sure not to make the same mistake ,trying my best to remember ,NOT TO CAME BACK EVER AGAIN! Such a shame for the great brand name , WYNDHAM!!!!

We are low maintenance hoteliers and don't need fancy tooms. The room was clean, beds were comfy, it was quiet and the price was great...$84 + $25 for parking. If you are looking for modern up to date decor then go find another hotel. Great walking distance to everything around the Falls.
