Rainbow Pediatrics

My son got referred to dr Sheikh almost two months ago, after many calls and leaving voice messages still hard to book an appointment. I don't know what kind of job receptionist doing...

Dr Shaikh has always been very good to my son...both of our sons are student athletes so Dr Shaikh's understanding of the unique challenges that go along with these boys has been super helpful. My rating is more so in regard to his receptionist Debbie. This woman is and always has been rude and careless with complete disregard for patients. Anytime I have to deal with her to book appointments or anything else I have had nothing but a horrible experience. Unfortunately, if there were other pediatricians accepting patients we would have left Rainbow Pediatrics a long time ago...it is a shame that an excellent Dr will lose patients because of the person he has hired to work his office and interact with his patients.

Dr. Shaikh has always been lovely to my son and I. He is knowledgeable and listens. We've never felt rushed. He speaks so gently to my son. The receptionist has always been lovely as well. She is kind and answers all of my questions and is so sweet to my son giving him a sticker and a pretzel stick after his appointment.

Where do I begin? This office is beyond ignorant! The two women that answer the calls are the rudest most unprofessional I have ever met in any office. My daughter hasn’t seen the DR in 8 years!!!!! Every time we make an appointment they call and cancel last minute with excuses such as DR is not feeling well, Dr has a family emergency, Dr is in a meeting! I am a single mother who clears my work schedule to accommodate times best suited for this DR and EVERY SINGLE TIME HE CANCELS IT WITH 2 hours or less before appointment! When you actually do get to see him he’s dismissive and rushes you through the appointment. To top it off when I calmly explained it’s the 3rd cancellation he’s done she tells me to calm down!!!! I wasn’t yelling I wasn’t using foul language! I was very calm considering! Not only that then she tells me if you don’t like it find another DR!!!! If that was easy to do I would have left this office 5 years ago! This practice is an absolute JOKE and those women answering calls shouldn’t have a job working with the public ever! This office is unprofessional and not reliable!!!! It’s disgusting and they should feel ashamed of themselves and this practice truthfully.

Dr. Shaikh has always been fabulous with my boys! He's very knowledgeable, keeps himself up to date, and he listens very well. We no longer live in the area, but we still keep Dr. Shaikh for our boys because his expertise is worth the drive. As for Debbie, it's very simple. You treat her nice, and she'll treat you nice!
