PromptDoc Urgent Care Clinic

They are alright depending on the doctor and when they can actually see you. High wait times at this clinic most everyday. However, waits I understand. Our healthcare is lacking. My complaint with this location is, I find that they often close earlier than advertised which is so frustrating when their services are required in a situation where we couldn't plan the time. They are not dependable in this aspect and for a medical clinic, they should be. Now, while I understand that they have to stop patient intake some days in order to end at an efficient time, their pattern seems to be significantly before closing time. A perfect example was today... We came an 60-75 minutes before close. There were 2 or 3 people in the waiting room (not sure if two were together) and the sign was up saying no more patients accepted. I spoke to the nurse who advised us the doctor is the one who advised her not to accept more patients. I asked to speak with the doctor as it was well before close but was not allowed and directed to go wait 8 hours at the hospital. She then mentioned that the wait was currently at 30 minutes and if this is true, it would mean the clinic is closing 30-40 minutes before they are supposed to-- and again this is frequent. This isn't right to people who need their services. People should be able to depend on a clinic.

Hi, I usually goes to Prompt Doc urgent care clinic at weekend for my health problems. Dr. Nisan Jayawardene is amazing, very kind and helpful. He listen carefully and suggests very wisely and Dr. Fotina Raptis is also same like as Dr. Nisan. But last week I went to clinic bcz I was badly suffering with backbone arthritis problems, full body and joint pain, even then I was not able to walk properly bcz of my joint pain. I went to Dr. Sharma but he did not listen me, he immediately showed up his both hands and said that there is no medicine for arthritis, you can take Tylenol. I was surprised that I am in severe pain and Dr. Was saying that there is no medicine. Dr. Sharma is very rude as I went two three times to Dr Sharma and everytime I felt that if he can not listen their patients and can not give any solution then what is the point of coming here. I will never go to Dr. Sharma.On that day I was in bad condition so that's why I went to Dr Sharma but I will never go to Dr. Sharma. I strongly recommend to see the Dr. Jaywardane and Dr. Fotina Raptis.

I’ve never been to a more friendly, efficiently-run, and clean walk-in clinic in my life. I took my senior father there today, and we were (surprisingly) in and out within 45 minutes. The doctor was very skilled and patient. I’ve never been to this walk-in clinic before, but I know we will use it exclusively moving forward. Excellent experience - thank you!

Had to go there for a couple of stitches in my arm. Very pleasant doctor and extremely efficient staff. In and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommend Prompt Doc urgent Care on lake St. Thank you for the professional care. S.

I've been here several times over the last few years and never had a negative experience. Receptionists are always pleasant as are the doctors. Wait times can be a little long, but I feel like that's to be expected at any walk-in/urgent care clinic.
