I hired Brian for a renovation and paid a $1,500 deposit. After part of the scope was reduced (a bathroom removed), the total price was suddenly increased by a large amount, including major unexpected jumps for basic items like drywall. This made me question his legitimacy. When I questioned the changes, communication stopped and the project did not move forward. I am attaching screenshots of the original and revised invoices, the e-transfer deposit, messages showing the lack of response, and a message from the contractor stating the deposit would be refunded. Despite that message, the refund was never received. Based on the unexplained price increase, poor communication, and failure to follow through on the promised refund, I cannot recommend this contractor.

Over the past couple years, Brian has accomplished the task of renovating several homes for us. These include taking on and renovating a total of 6 bathrooms c/w tub, shower glass, and tile wall enclosures… excellent work! In addition, there were other surprise requirements such as removing walls and installing beams, replacing windows and hanging doors. All done with care and attention to detail. Highly recommend Brian and team for all your home renovation projects.
