Bought their cranberry almond crunch cereal and the oat lumps inside were so hard, they cracked my wife's tooth. Tried to communicate with them and they asked for dental records to which my wife had none because she is new to Canada and thus our request for compensation was denied. No real communication, just few emails, and the adjudicator just decided to close the file on us. The dental payment we made at our local dental clinic was not enough evidence for them to compensate us. They asked me to return the product to examine if there was any foreign substance that caused the incident while the real cause was the hardened oat clumps. Apparently my wife is not the only victim of such incident. Other reviews here also pointed out the similar problem. Post does not seem to care nor improve their products. I suggest whoever suffered the same should file a class action lawsuit against this company.
View on GoogleGreat company for Hook drop, except the old white security GUARD, i think his name is Richard. He would ignore you standing there and don’t care if you are waiting and will take 20 minutes sometimes just to start the process of letting you in, whereas other Guards do the same work in 5 minutes on different shift timings. He should be sent on long holidays I guess.
View on GoogleTake a good look at the next box you purchase SHREDDIES . They have downsized from 550 g to 440 g and raised the price . POST making Hard times even Harder . This isn't inflation its price gouging. Shame on you ! R . Anderson .
View on GoogleI recently purchased a box of cereal at a discount store, never looking at the expiration date. A couple weeks later I opened the box to be greeted by a strange rancid smell. I always buy the cereal so I knew what it was supposed to smell like. The box was outdated by months, but was never taken off the shelves. I wrote to Post Foods and asked for help, acknowleding it was my error for not looking. I asked if they could possibly send to me a coupon for another box. The associate at Post Foods was so helpful and polite and conscientious about the company's 'professional standing'. So grateful, I received not only a coupon to replace the out dated box of cereal, but an additional coupon. This is customer service like it used to be. I wonder why I only purchase two types of cereal, both Post Foods.
View on GoogleAn excellent tour of a special factory in Niagara Falls. Unfortunately public tours of this historic place are not available anymore. Factory produces good food using locally sourced ingredients (when possible), participates in community, is a good employer and wants to remain in business in Niagara Falls. Support this good corporate citizen, eat shredded wheat.
