PORTSIDE Social Bar & Kitchen

We went for dinner there last night and I can only say never again ! We walked in and there was no warm welcome feeling ! We both got burgers and salad while the bartender was behind the bar talking to the couple people at the bar and busy on the phone never once did she come over after we got our meal ! We could not get her attention in this very small place Finally my husband tapped the plate to get her attention so we could tell her I almost swallowed a long piece of plastic that was in the salad ! Never again giving them a 2 star was generous 🙄

Cool inside and comfortable patio (we sat at the patio). Friendly service! EXCELLENT double double pepperoni pizza, extremely generous with the pepperoni and cheese!! Despite the jumbo size, the Wings were disappointing, we asked for them very well done but they arrived a bit rubbery and very very greasy (see photo of the greasy plate). Drinks were pretty good.

No one posted a review about the beef short ribs and I was hesitant to order it but I said why not lol. It turned out to actually be pretty good! The beef is super tender and has good flavour, the gravy served on top of it paired well with the beef and the potatoes as well. I’m currently pregnant with twins and I have a really big appetite lol and THIS left me feeling full. My husband got the short ribs grilled cheese and it was also excellent! We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and we could barely handle it for just the two of us. Definitely could have fed two extra ppl with it. Overall service was good and prices are typical for this setting and type of meal. I would recommend for sure!

We stopped here for a late lunch and were not disappointed. Cold beer to start while we waited for our appetizer- Brie that was excellent. My pizza was perfect and my sisters fish had her stamp of approval.

The location is awesome. It's located right at the corner of Lakeport. My experience was not Awesome!! Wanted to have a quick bite today but unfortunately there was only one server today. She was trying hard to put out all the orders and serve everyone but the service fell apart. Got a simple order of Sandwich and wraps in 35 minutes. The chicken in the sandwich was burnt but the wrap was really tasty. The interior is good and the patio is pretty too. However you can skip this restaurant and try another one if you are looking for Great food and amazing Service.
