Disappointed I make it a point to support Home hardware because they are family businesses. I go out of my way to shop at home.Hardware sometimes even paying more. I just went in to the port Colburn location and while checking out. I presented my indigenous status card. The cashier looked at it looked at me and said don't do that here. ( I've never been told that at any other home hardware ) As an indigenous person who has contributed to society, including serving in the canadian armed forces, I'm disappointed. Unfortunately, I will no longer be shopping at home hardware, if the big box store are willing to respect our indigenous people, they deserve my business.
