Been going to this gym for a while now and have had no issues with any of the employees however today I dealt with an extremely condescending “club manager” that gave me a “strike” for telling her not to be condescending to me. I’d be more than happy to find another gym, do better.
View on GoogleBeen going to this location for a couple years. They recently hired new staff who I noticed have prioritized cleaning and im extremely happy about that. I was considering going somewhere else because of the lack of cleanliness of the gym.Thank you Natasha, Nate, Hunter, and all the other great staff at PF Welland!
View on GoogleBeen coming here for three years, decent gym, although would love some new equipment! Absolutely LOVE the morning staff, Hunter is always so helpful, friendly and welcoming with his big smile.
View on GoogleNice looking gym. Clean gym. Tighter spaces are not so great. Showers are clean but theres almost no water pressure which wouldnt be so bad if the water was hot or even warm. If you like a shower after your workout. Skip this gym. I still have soap on my skin. No heat. No pressure
View on GoogleThis gym has many issues that need to be addressed immediately. The most urgent is the scheduling of employees for the opening shift. Since joining a year ago the gym has opened late at least 7 times that I've been here, and I've heard from other people that it's happened on days I wasn't here too. In fact, I'm writing this review from the parking lot, 45 minutes after the gym was supposed to be open. There have been around 20-30 people who have come and waited or left, unable to get their morning workout in because nobody is here to open it up. I don't blame the employee, people get sick or accidentally sleep in, I get it. My problem is that this has been happening for at least a year, and the manager has done nothing about it. 2 people should be here to open the gym, both with keys to get in. It's not rocket science. The next issue is broken equipment, and it seems to be getting worse. Some machines have been broken for weeks or months, with others having issues but still functional. Many benches/seats have rips in them, but they won't get fixed until they're big enough. Literally, the staff have a little tool to measure the rip and it needs to be a certain size before they fix it. And at this point there is only 1 rope attachment left, which is on it's last legs. Another problem is the cleaning. Staff definitely do some cleaning, but it's not a very deep clean or done often enough. I've been told staff are told to only clean certain areas, but some areas are often not getting assigned or cleaned at all. Huge dust balls can be seen rolling through the gym like tumbleweeds across the prairies. Again, I don't blame the staff; they can only do so much cleaning while answering phones, unlocking massage beds/etc for people, and dealing with customers. Why there isn't a dedicated cleaning crew is beyond me, once again it's not rocket science. I love the people and staff here and have no intentions of changing gyms, unless things get worse. But I hope you can improve things, because like I said I do like it here. But these are extremely simple things with extremely simple fixes. There needs to be a big change in management or how management does their job. What they are doing is not working.
