**UPDATE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE** The manager has been told by multiple people multiple times about the cleanliness of the whole gym. This place is absolutely disgusting, The floors are always filthy with garbage and dust on the floor multiple days in a row. Machines covered in dust I’ve been there for a while and go thought different times of the days and haven’t seen a vacuum out in over a year. Clumps of dust and garbage all over the gym anywhere you look. Can only speak to the men’s room but they would definitely not pass a health and safety check. I told a staffer one time that the bathroom was discussing and he said ok and put on gloves and then started talking to friends and didn’t go in in the 1-1/2 hour I stayed during my work out. I’ve taken picture to even prove that water stains on the floors haven’t been mopped in multiple days in a row.
View on GoogleI joined this gym expecting 24-hour access, but it does not operate around the clock. The limited hours are very frustrating and defeat the purpose for anyone with a non-traditional schedule. A gym should offer flexibility, and this one falls short in that area.
View on GoogleOver all. All is good. Being a smaller branch. We have some equipment that we only have 1 or 2 of. For our size. Sadly We have Too many :1 minute equipment. 5 or 10 phone or catching up with Bros I dont know how many trainers you have. But there is one who only seems to interact with those who have "signed up". I only say this because I saw a post from another PF, where a trainer, was mingling. And stopped at a couple of people to guide them on how to get the most bang from the equipment they were using.
View on GoogleExtremely disappointed with the Planet Fitness Fort Erie location. The biggest issue is that the gym is not open during its advertised hours. The posted hours are 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM, 7 days a week, yet on weekends the gym does not open until 6:00 AM, and on some weekdays it isn’t open at 5:00 AM either. This is misleading and unacceptable for members who plan their workouts around those hours. Maintenance and cleanliness are also a constant problem. Equipment is frequently broken or not working properly and often stays that way for long periods. The bathrooms are regularly out of soap and disgustingly dirty. My fiancé has also pointed out that the women’s washroom hand dryer has not been working for months, which clearly shows a lack of basic upkeep. The tanning beds and booth do not appear to receive regular maintenance, including timely bulb changes. Staff accountability is another major concern—some staff do not do their jobs, and afternoon shift employees often stand around talking to teenagers instead of maintaining the facility or assisting members. What makes this even more frustrating is that the Niagara Falls Planet Fitness is brand new and open 24/7, while Fort Erie closes at 10 PM and can’t even open on time in the mornings. I’m paying for a membership expecting reliable access, clean facilities, working equipment, and professional staff. At this point, I’m genuinely asking: what am I paying for? This location seriously needs management intervention.
View on GoogleFort Erie desperately needed a gym like this. it’s a Fantastic gym!! Overall I’m thrilled that this gym has been put here. Brand new equipment, tons and tons of machines! They really invested into this gym! They have 3 smith machines!!! I would’ve given 5 stars but It lacks a few things I thought were standard like a bench press and squat rack for some reason. It could have had a sauna as well but they decided to put other things like a “ wellness pod.” All in all though it’s a great upgrade for the town of Fort Erie. It’s going to save me a lot of trips to world gym in Niagara Falls
