After experiencing a broken latch / striker on my door which removed the ability to unlatch and open the door, I immediately reached for the Pinders Lock Company whom I have dealt with very satisfactorily in the past. I was promised a technician in approx. 30 min. which lapsed into over an hour & 20 min. I explained where our house was located and how some delivery people who rely solely on GPS go to the wrong house. Upon arrival, the technicians went to the wrong house. After welcoming them into our house and showing them the problem door, they looked at it as if they had never seen a door lock before. They fiddled around with screwdrivers and other tools then finally went out to the car (not a locksmiths van) and retrieved some airbags which they proceeded to jam in between the door & jamb. After a huge amount of struggling the door finally opened. He removed the faulty latch and I was told that the replacement one I had on hand was also broken. They left after collecting $127. I installed the temporary replacement latch myself and am happy with MY result. Unfortunately in the future I will be calling a different company should I require service.

Pissed off, these drivers should not be cutting off school busses. Coming up the left side to cut in on the Geneva street ramp, happend around 7:50 am on Wednesday Oct 8/2025. License plate # BZ 50186 Just horrible. Please retrain your staff!

When it comes to getting keys cut in St. Catharines/Niagara, look no further! In my honest opinion, they are undoubtedly one of the best in the region. The expertise they showed was clear, cutting my keys perfectly the first time. If you want a quick, accurate, and truly excellent key cutting experience, this is where you need to go!

Seems only one person can rekey a lock. Took my 2 locks in on Wednesday to be rekeyed. When I asked if they would be done by Friday I got an “of course” as if that was more than enough time. When I got there Friday at 15:00 only one had been done. I asked for them back… I’ll get somebody else to take the 15 minutes or so it takes to key the lock. They refused to give me my lock back or even give me the key that I had given them until I paid for the lock they had supposedly done. (I don’t know that it was completed.., they wouldn’t give me the key to try.)
