Phyl's All Day Breakfast and Lunch

Overall, it’s the kind of place you want to return to again and again. Delicious food, welcoming people, and a relaxed environment, this is now out go to place for Breakfast.

No offence but won’t be back Response to owner: Not to bash your establishment but it was just terrible from the service (one server/one cook, which is fine) but our server spent the entirety of our time there in the kitchen talking, she left the coffee pot on a table by the front door for most of the time we were there so no top up on cold coffee. Unfortunately worse than the service was the food it was a party of two (my husband and myself) and we both couldn’t finish our breakfast. Simple breakfasts for both but bacon was not fresh and our eggs both undercooked and slimy. We still left a tip, however don’t believe there was a manager on to speak to if we would have asked.

The restaurant its self is nice and well kept and the sort but the food portions and quality was rather mediocre. I ordered the House Breakfast and the pancake you get is just about the size of a hockey puck. Service was okay. A few mishaps where our waitress forgot the cutlery and giving the bill when we weren’t finished yet. But overall not good enough to warrant a return.

Went here for breakfast while staying at NOTL. Ordered Belgian waffles with whip cream and strawberries as well as Nat's famous omelette which consists of red peppers, tomato and cheese. Food was what you would expect at a breakfast diner, we enjoyed it. Service was slow. We were greeted promptly and our order was taken at a reasonable time, but there were no check ins with us in terms of coffee top offs like other establishments. Our food took quite a bit of time to get to us, I was already done with my coffee when our order came, our waitress said she will be back to give more shortly. She never came back. I noticed the other waitress topping off customers across the place. This kind of makes the experience lack something when you can't sip on your morning coffee while eating. So the lower star rating was based on our service. Will try a different place next time we visit.

Our group of 5 tried Phyls for the first time this past weekend (Sunday) and loved it! We had to wait a few minutes for a table, and well worth it. Service was excellent as was the food. Portions are well sized and fresh. Our group ordered many different options including the omelettes, eggs benedict, traditional breakfast… and everything was fantastic. The menu is well priced compared to other breakfast restaurants in the area. We highly recommend Phyl’s! We loved it and will definitely be back!
