This place has the BEST pho! We come from out of town and I crave this way more than I can afford lol. If I could come everyday I would. Lately I’ve been craving it so much, I tried to make my own but I can’t quite get the exact flavour on the grilled beef, could I please get your recipe??? It’s so flavourful and delicious. Place feels homey and comforting, the owners are wonderful! If you haven’t tried it yet, you should it’s amazing!
View on GooglePho Dau Bo is a great spot — spacious with lots of seating, friendly and helpful staff, and most importantly, fresh and very tasty food. Every dish I tried was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a reliable choice for a casual lunch or dinner. One thing to note is the portion size and price. Lunch dishes run around $21, but the servings are huge — easily enough for two people. If they offered a half-size portion around $14, it would be more practical, especially for a midday meal. The only real downside is environmental. With such large portions, nearly everyone leaves with leftovers packed in plastic containers and bags, which adds unnecessary waste. A move toward smaller portions, or offering eco-friendly takeaway packaging, would make the experience even better. Overall, Pho Dau Bo delivers delicious food in a comfortable setting, but I’d love to see some adjustments for portion size, price, and sustainability.
View on GoogleWe were looking for something to eat before heading back to the GTA, then I came across this hidden gem. In Markham, there’s a lot of good Pho places, so I have my standard for Pho. And I have to say - after the first sip of the soup (I got Tom Yum), I was truly amazed by its authenticity!! Then I had a bite of the spring rolls, I was debating between the hard or soft one, ended up getting the soft one and expecting it to be your normal soft spring rolls. The waiter (perhaps the son) gave us the sauce and told us to put it into the spring roll. It was AMAZING! Take a look at the picture I attached here, I have never had this type of spring rolls that has a combination of both soft and crunchy inside. It’s hard for me to explain how good this place is, definitely recommend trying this place!
View on GoogleVisit this Vietnamese restaurant many times with friend and family. My favourite is #333 beef tendon and tripe soup. Also tried many other dishes. Very good and friendly service, delicious dishes and clean atmosphere. Restaurant offers also free parking. Price is affordable Recommended
View on GoogleI ordered a fried rice and I enjoyed it. Being from Ottawa I compare any fried rice dish to one I get all the time there, this fried rice is up there. It’s a bit on the saltier side which I don’t mind but it’s a heads-up for others. The chicken wings were juicy, crispy and tasty. The taro drink was nothing special, it tasted like something I can make at home, which is good but again nothing special. The restaurant is quite large and there is a good amount of parking too.
