Had my 7 months old puppy in for a nail trim on Friday the 20th of February at 5 pm. When he came out, his eyes were scary red. When I asked why, the young girl told me is due to stress and to the fact that my puppy's head was down the entire time while clipping his nails. When I touch the loop to take it off, I realized that it was really tight around my puppy's neck. As I was trying to remove it, the girl said she can't take it off until the leash was on. I promptly clipped the leash onto the harness as fast as I could just to have the tight loop removed. I was not happy with the fact that my puppy was being strangled by the loop and concerned about tracheal damage and the added stress. The loop they use is very thin and can cause a lot of damage especially to a puppy. I am extremely disappointed with my last visit. I will be monitoring my puppy's well being after the incident and maybe a visit to the vet for x-ray to make sure there is no tracheal damage from the tight loop that was around his neck for the entire duration of his nails trim. I won't be going back.

Everytime I come here I have been turned away for a simple nail trim that takes 2 minutes I have an 18 pound dog. It seems as if you don’t want my business because this has happened three times that I’ve been turned away. I am frustrated with the lack of service. At this point , I will taking my business elsewhere and found a local person who can do it. I understand it can be busy but this seems like you guys don’t want business.

I booked an appointment for my seven month old puppy explaining on the phone that I’m a home groomer and I want an appointment specifically to acclimate her to public grooming because she gets stressed, and that I want to be present for it. They told me on the phone that this was fine and it would be about an hour and a half. They cancelled my appointment so I rebooked, mixed up the rebooking date, rebooked again, so I guess this got lost in translation. But when I got there, they told me it would take about 3 hours if not longer because they had other grooms before me, so I killed time and asked them to call me before they start on her since I need to be present. My puppy has Luxating patella which means her knee dislocates and causes discomfort when she is stressed , which I informed the groomer in person, and explained that its why I should be present because its a very quick fix. Instead, they bathed and dried her in 5 minutes without me there, started her groom, kept grooming her while she trembled in pain/fear with her dislocated knee, they talked about me in front of my eyes, and then stopped the groom to tell me she couldn’t work with the dog because of the condition, despite that I fixed the knee in 2 seconds. I didn’t press her on it because this was already not the kind of care I was hoping for. They still charged me $45 for the 5 minute bath and blowdry. So do with this information what you will, but this was a very disappointing experience for me, and I feel robbed of the joy of my puppy’s first groom.

We took our family Christmas photos here with our cat when I was pregnant with my daughter😂 now she’s almost 3! This store has always been spotless, and the staff are so helpful. They give you space to shop but are warm and attentive when you need them. Today, an older employee helped us pick the perfect fish at a great price. Thank you!
