First time visit to the store. Very friendly staff and extremely knowledgeable. Go see Mavis too, the resident parrot. She's adorable.

I had problems under prev owner. I met the new manager & she is very motivated, knowledgeable about her products & has a great personality.

Amazing staff! Pat on the back to the manager of this location! The staff is always ready to help and carry a wealth of product knowledge! Today one of their employees, who looked like he was in on a day off or had just finished his shift helped me carry a heavy bag of cat litter to my vehicle and put it in my car. My hands were full because I just had come from the dollar store and I wasn’t expecting to purchase the amount of litter that I did. I parked somewhat far away. When I told him where I parked he laughed and said he thought I had parked at the Tim Hortons at first. All I could think was that this employee was ready to walk this to Tim Hortons for me? Haha! The employee was so helpful! Thank you so much, it was so appreciated! And it truly made my day!

Pet valu is like a pet store with a conscience. They work with the local shelters to find animals homes. here's always a resident cat or some kittens running around😍 It's worth it just to go in for a visit to see them. The staff is friendly and funny. I received a $20 gc as an Xmas gift a couple years ago which is how I found the store in the first place, now I won't go anywhere else. I also adopted Lyla from pet valu, she is the most wonderful girl

Wonderful staff, kind and compassionate, helpful and professional! Amazing selection of products and services! Store is clean and organized! Excellent community involvement and creative activities! Our three pups love coming for a bath and a treat! This is the best Pet Valu there is!
