Female attendant was very helpful with inquiries on a certain brand of cat food and varieties available as well as looking online at other stores and warehouse for available varieties and advised that we can order in advance with them and pickup on delivery days.
View on GoogleDo not shop online from this store. The store refused to take my online order’s return. They told me the return is only possible at the discretion of the manager. Also they have incorrectly informed me they need a physical receipt despite the fact that the online receipt I have received at my purchase states otherwise. Please get your store associates up to speed with the actual rules and regulations of the brand you are carrying so we don’t have to travel 30km twice to return an item. This is bad customer service.
View on GoogleI am extremely pleased with the staff at this location. I bring "Honey Bear" for her nails. I appreciate that the staff come and get her from my vehicle (yesterday it was Carol) - she is still at her pup stage - I walk with a cane. Store is very clean and everyone is polite and friendly! Thank You!
View on GoogleI’ve been coming to this store for years, but the customer service has just depleted. The employees seem to change all the time, which leads me to wonder why. The new ones now have zero customer service skills, and I’ve heard some awful remarks come out of them regarding their own staff and other customers. Environment within the store feels different. The owner looks like he could really care less anymore, and whoever this other female manager is isn’t any better. It’s unfortunate because they’ve been my regular store since adopting my cat from them, but luckily there is Global Foods right across the street and I’ve never had issues there. I wouldn’t recommend this store if you want a positive and personable experience.
View on GoogleI purchased a dog crate from this Pet Valu location and was disappointed to find a large, noticeable scratch on the side when I arrived for pickup. I politely asked the staff for a small discount, considering the product was no longer in brand-new condition. I was told only the manager, Casey, could handle it and that I’d have to return the next day. When I came back, I explained the situation to Casey, who flatly refused any adjustment and insisted the item was still “brand new.” No apology was offered, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no accountability for the damage. If an item is visibly scratched, it’s not in perfect condition, and selling it at full price without disclosing that to the customer is just bad business. This experience made it clear that this store does not stand by its products or value customer satisfaction. I won’t be returning, and I suggest others double-check any item they purchase before walking out the door.
