I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at People’s Jewelers at the Pen Centre in St. Catharines. I had sent a necklace in for repair and received an email stating that it was ready for pickup. Before making the trip to the mall, I specifically called the store to confirm whether I could pick it up without my physical ID, as I had recently switched from an out-of-province license and currently only have the temporary paper license. The woman I spoke with assured me that it would not be a problem and that the email confirmation would be enough. However, when I arrived at the store, the staff member at the counter refused to release my necklace without physical ID. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had taken the time to call ahead precisely to avoid this situation. Had I been given the correct information in the first place, I would not have made the trip. It’s difficult for me to get to the mall due to a demanding work schedule, and as a result I wasted over an hour of my time because of incorrect information from store staff. Now I have to wait until my new license arrives before I can return and pick up my own jewelry. While this situation may seem minor, it reflects a lack of proper staff training and communication. For a company selling high-end jewelry, there is really no excuse for staff giving customers incorrect information that leads to unnecessary inconvenience. Do better, People’s.

Jodi is wonderful and incredibly helpful. She assisted my sister in selecting a replacement pair of earrings after she lost the original ones. Jodi has exceptional customer service skills and never fails to put a smile on your face. I would trust her completely to ensure that you leave happy and satisfied with your purchase.

Walked into People’s at the Pen Centre today to get an old necklace repaired. What a great experience!!! Charlene was the sales associate and was beyond knowledgeable and friendly. She turned our quick stop into an hour long adventure into gold, diamonds and laughter. We are now going to purchase a new men’s wedding band and my wife is getting her wedding ring repaired. I wish everyone who worked in customer service had the ability to engage with their customers as well as Charlene … Kudos !!!

Very Friendly and helpful staff member made my return and overall experience amazing, so easily. I was in and out within a few minutes . Return completed, money back onto my credit card within minutes of lesving the store ( Taylor road- outlet mall location). Customer service was on point and super nice. Highly recommend this location and jewellery store! Well run store and efficient procedure and return process! Will definitely get my business again .

I went in there today looking for a ring for my partner. There was another couple being served taking up the ring area I wanted to look at. Jaliyah came up and helped me offering to grab rings that i might be interested in so we didn’t disturb the other couple but also so I didn’t have to sit and wait forever. She was so kind and helpful. I was able to get a ring at an amazing price and got exactly what I wanted and more. Jaliyah was so sweet, helpful, understanding.
